I may not have a knowledge that could be termed 'scholastic' , however the concept/idea of trinity that we were discussing is widely known, whereas the history of the word itself etc is maybe not so widely-known.
Underpinning my belief is the fact that God cannot be divided, be it into 3, or 30,000, it is not possible. I reject trinity because of this.

Look at this this way: IF the nations of the world use what is happening in Palestine and or an attack on Iran as an excuse to turn against it how can we call it right, except that it be the will of God.

@teapartypastor Step one, removal of moral guidelines as prescribed in the bible, premarital sex, abortion/infanticide, sins of the flesh is the easiest way to desensitize people to a strict moral guidline. "if it feels good and doesnt hurt anyone, do it" i.e. sex, drugs, making money at any coast (just about everyhting you hear in mainstream music)

But this doesn't excuse the nation of Israel's atrocities. Lets not forget what the bible says. They rejected their Messiah and thereby God. The scripture you reference also tells us that they will be brought back to their promised land not because they deserve it, but because His name and word are at stake. (Verse 23). Because the nation is Israel, doesn't automatically make everything it does ok, remember 2/3rds will be cut off.
