Are you people insane? I'm sure God would not appreciate your contraption at all! We have a birdfeeder, and the most entertaining part is watching the squirrels eat the seeds. Birds are boring, they should be eating bugs instead anyway! The squirrels deserve to eat too, especially when their food is scarce in the summertime. If you can't let nature do it's thing, then don't bother feeding anything but your selfish selves. I'd like to zap your ass everytime you tried to eat. Respect all animals!
Well than that is impressive as long as it has not killed any other animals and what happens to the squirrels when they get zapped? That set up looks like it would fry them. I know how frustrating it is as they have eaten much of my seed intended for the birds too.
@soupdujur I can promise you every suirrel that has been zapped has run away and many have returned, but those that have never tried their luck again. Check out the video of it in action, and you'll see the squirrel jump away alive. It's a common cattle fence energizer. If they were so lethal, don't you think everytime you drove past a farm you'd see the fence surrounded by dead animals?

lol... yeah what about simply using those capacitors that they used to sell for car stereos back in the day? Setting squirrels on fire would be kinda... sweeeet!
@ArterialSum1 $320 a year spent on bird feed before protection ... $120 a year after protection. Cost of energizer and labor: $160. $200 saving after 2 yrs. Get it?
I sell The speedrite chargers which are featured in this video. If you would like to purchase one, you can order on ebay or email me valleyfarmsupply@aol.com
@shiteetah wow someone really is dedicated to he's birdfeeding hanger.. or maybe someone just doesnt like woodland critters?.... man i love squirels so much i whouldnt bother if i one day found one in my candy-closet munching all my goods..
You should hook up a remote and shut it off. Then when Foamy comes along looking for nuts, turn it on just before he gets the nuts. THAT would be bad ass! lol
ok.... you are really mean..... you know they make bird feeders that will close if a Squirrel tries to eat..... and another way is to have a pole of some kind.. not metal... and you put grease on it about 1/2 up.. and they slip right on down.
@alexandrite3276 Nothing. There are not enough joules to jump through the tough skin of even a small bird legs, which happen to be poor conductors. My father-in-law actualy puts cracked corn on top of the box for the doves - no bird has ever been shocked.
Oh. I dont know a thing about electric..I did know that it dont hurt the squirrel in any way but couldnt figure out how it didnt shock the birds too :) thanks for the respond

@shiteetah
I watched 'Squirrel zapped by 7000 volts' and see the squirrel fall in to the weeds and don't see the squirrel again.
I see your logic but you are feeding birds, and to think that not 1 bird will be electrocute is a risk not worth taking.

@TheMoses2007
Have you ever tried these methods and have them work successfully forever?? Eventually the squirrels figure out even the best of these methods.
