  • So theres a singing duck at dooms gate

  • @killerkenny5000 I know about the jag's weird ass processing and that it was 32 bit. Alien vs predator was silent only sounds u heard were screaming, gunfire, and ur common pain sounds. It had decent graphics but no music walking sounds etc..

  • Jag didnt actually have music I think it was because of system limitations of the "64 bit" console

  • @OrangeBreaker no what rly happen is since the jaguar isn't rly 64-bit since they split the processor's into 2 different 32-bit processor's which it's not the same thing so no wonder why the games look like shit on the jaguar

so id software (yes they did made the jaguar version) used most of the sound for graphics which is why you cant hear no music during the gameplay

so far the only TRUE 64-bit system out their will be the N64

  • just put on slayer music whilst playing and you're good to go

  • @MrHenrywulf hello this is not in CD now if someone manage to get the jaguar CD to work it would be cool to found out how was doom in jaguar CD

  • 64-bit my ass

  • jaguar version dont have music,

  • @philipuslll It has no music during the gameplay. Once you beat a level, the song for that level plays in the intermission instead.

  • It reminds me more of *chuckle* jaguars then ducks.

  • This Jaguar version is better than I thought it would be. Nothing is worse than the 32X version....nothing.

  • Even the 16 bit Snes had better music.Don't you find it strange?48 bit less!

  • i hear ducks saying nom...is something wrong with me?

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I PRESENT, THE DONALD DUCK CHOIR!

  • 32x ver iz better

  • this sounds like a pixilated version of the SNES song, either way its better then that f**kin 32X version god that was s**t

  • This version sucked

  • I prefer ducks over fart-f***s xD

  • Too bad the original Jaguar didn't have music 'cause it's a FAGGOT!!

  • It's one of the Youtube poops where they make an entire song using one sound effect.

  • @malathis0 nope.

  • wait a second,i thought that doom did not have music on the jaguar(outside of the "stats screen"after every mission)

  • T_T

  • 24 levels

made by id software (no one used source code for the port)

all weps and enemies (except cyberdemon-spider mastermind-spectre)

great frame rate (never lowers down)

good graphics (2nd best graphics ever in doom)

music sounds like ducks (it sounds alright)

  • @killkenny5000

By far the Jaguar is the best port of doom I've played... cause I don't have an Xbox 360 (God dammit ID! Give ps3 owners doom!)

  • @AlluMan96 have you ever played the PC or PSX port

  • @AlluMan96 wow doom even 1st came out on the PC and doom on PS1 is best doom port ever known for 1 you got extra darkness-nice color effects-better sound effects-horror music- with doom 1 and 2 put together (the total amount of levels on PS1 has 59 levels) the PC ha 27 unless if you get ultimate doom.

the jaguar only have 24 the only things they got rid of is the bosses

you got alot to learn about these ports.

  • @killkenny5000

I know doom was originally a PC game but the problem is that for some odd reson my computer will refuse to emulate DOS games and I have never even layed my eyes on the ps1 doom. I whould play doom on ps1 but PS3 just will not let me have it on ps1 classics.

  • @AlluMan96 here try this

download GZdoom at GZdoom . com

and then download the ultimate doom or doom 2 wad

you can find them at (mega uploads-mediafire-4shared . com)

thx too all of that i got the full game of ultimate doom (which is the remake of doom 1) and doom 2 for free

  • @AlluMan96 The PSX port is much better in it's own ways, and the GBA version is like an expanded Jaguar port. It even runs on the exact same engine.

  • @AvecOuSansVous It's a shame they based the Psx version off the Jaguar port, though. Some areas still look more bland than the PC version, though it sort of compensates by having colored lighting.

  • 6 people were the ducks who quaked this and hate the haters

  • @99909absol ??? wut

  • @killkenny5000 thats the point its not supposed to make sense

  • @99909absol (-_-) ...

  • Quacking is better than diarrhea

  • @AbbaTheHut No, this is the jaguar.

  • De hecho lo encuentro mejor que el original en MIDI, pero no supera la calidad de su version de 3DO. Me pregunto si estas y el resto de los temas estaran disponible para descarga, no logro encontralos en ninguna parte.

  • Not too bad... Actually its kinda never heared before version of Doom soundtrack

  • @winme05 the music is in order like the GBA port

except doom on jaguar came out 1st

  • ...still better than the 32x in my opinion

  • @ExtremeTyger it played random tracks at the level end screen

  • heh heh t sounds like ducks

  • wait, i thought jaguar version had no music

  • @ExtremeTyger can you use gamegenie?

  • @SuperBrain1997

no, there were NO files for music for the jag version

  • @ExtremeTyger then i think its remix for jag style

  • @ExtremeTyger me too

  • @ExtremeTyger It has if you complete a stage.Listen to it when the intermission shows up.

  • more like Atari Duck

  • )I( sucks!

  • Ducks or farts! Choose wisely!!!

  • @dongding2009 duck

  • Sounds more like ducks and jaguars. At the drums....Daffy. Singing.......The Jaguar Cube.

  • in my opinion this is the second best doom music

  • @BM5072 demons, not aliens...

  • That song looks like a mix of Crappy 32X and badass SNES... Half crappy, half badass, all DooM!

  • Then you find out - THE JAGUAR PORT DOESN'T HAVE MUSIC.

  • @MrMattwaffle their is a music for this port and this is it to find it u must go to the stats screen

  • Quack?

  • It's I think on the samw level of suck as the 32X varient.

  • thnak god its better than the 32X version

  • jaguar doom es lo mismo que ultimate doom???

  • Super Nintendo is the best one =)

  • WAAAY better than the 32X version! >:)

  • snes has best music

  • I didn't know the Jaguar version had music?

  • sounds like : ´´ quack quack quack quack quuaaack! quack quack quack quack quuaaaaaaaack!´´

  • If you combine the Jaguars version of Doom with the 3DO's music ... you'd have one kickass port of the game!

  • quak quak quak quak quakquak

  • fart fart fart fart fart!!!!

  • Sounds Like a fat guy FARTING!!

  • @fr33kSh0w2012 Man, I wish I could fart this!

  • I thought AVGN said there was no music

  • @TheCineMatt the music only came on during the results screen.not during gameplay

  • Donald Doom

  • @Nuxius Errrrrrrrrrrr I Thought The Atari Jaguar Ver. Didn't Have Music. 0.0?

  • @TheVideoGameFreak100 Only intermission music tracks.

  • Oh god. the tonic chord sounds... Discordant. Holy shit.

Well, at least it doesn't sound like farts.

  • QUACK QUACK QUACK!

  • wgy does this sound a bit like master of puppets. idk y :/

  • lol ducks :)

  • i love this i remember the good old days on pc where you could modify the sound card on app now its preset and not modable on most sound card for pc wich sucks

  • 32x is best becuase it sounds scarier and mor ebad-ass

  • @123stephenno my ass!! it doesnt sound scary i sounds like farting.....

  • @123stephenno definitely sounds ass

  • @123stephenno

    OMFG RLY

32x version is the crappiest version of doom all time the MUSIC IS RLY GAY SO GAY I SHIT MY PANTS 4 IT IT RAPED MY EARS HARD AND THEIRS WAY LESS LEVELS ON IT like at least 15 lvls GOD SNES version has 22 and 3do-jag. has 24 MY GOD UR SO DEAF

  • The 32X version is all "fart, fart, fart, fart, fart" and this one is all like "quack, quack, quack, quack, quack"

  • @ilikemuffinsandovals

It will be the sound of when your mum dies!

And everyone will live happily ever after!

  • qua-qau-qua-quack-qua-qua-quack-quack-quack-quack

  • this sort of sounds like ducks are singing the first notes and through the music xD

  • wtf? did they just take the original cover of doom and mirror the image?

  • Need I say more? At Duck's Gate.

  • Dare I say this?

    NEDM

  • WTF? The Jaguar port of Doom doesn't even have music!

  • @vio2112 read the description.

  • the part at :19 - :20 is kinda cool. other then that....wtf XD

  • they made this port for the gba and the music is way better

  • Amigo, segun los rumoeres se dicen que hay unos cartuchos que tienen musica en las pantallas, sabes si es cierto?

  • this version isnt all that bad at least its better than the 32x version MUCH better!

  • The whole introduction : Quack Quack Quack Quack Qua-Quack Quack Quack Quack Quaaaaaaaaaaaaaack Quack Quack Quack Quack Qua-Quack Quack Quack Quack Quaaaaaaaaaaaaaack *percussions in* Quack Quack Quack Quack Qua-Quack Quack Quack Quack Quaaaaaaaaaaaaaack Quack Quack Quack Quack Qua-Quack Quack Quack *guitar solo*
  • Atari Jaguar? no que en esa version no habia musica?

  • @DeathProof7 La version Jaguar habia musica en las pantallas de entreacto.

  • At Duck's Gate

  • quack quack quack quack

  • Comment removed

  • @jons44 I thought that too, if you saw that in the Angry Nerd I think his game was not working so well so he thought that there wasn't the music and he mensioned that in the jaguar review but as you can see, jaguar version actually does have music^^

  • @jons44 Read the description. ;-)

  • Q-Q-Quack, quack, quack, quack quack...

    yeah that's all i heard.

And this is the first time i saw the Jaguar cover for then game.

  • nothing beats playing doom to the sounds of a qucking duck..........

maybe its a good thing the Jaguar version had no music ingame.....

  • still on MIDI style, the pc and the snes and the 3do were intrumentals, but the 32X sounds like farts and zippers and this one looks like a zipper or a dog that catch a cold

  • well, the difference between this and the 32X version is that the jaguar didn't eat over 9000 lbs. of beans.

    still sucky though

  • quack quack quack BOOOOM!!!! quack quack

  • I am Satan incarnate.

  • My reaction to the music was something like D:

  • the pic is reversed, worse than 32x and could blow up my tv...it sucks

  • this sounds WAAAY worse than the 32x music

  • I agree here. I thought 32x was bad..but umm yeah.

  • this is the reason to buy a cartride.

  • yeah thats cool!

    SNES version is better!

  • Sounds like some ducks, quacking.

  • lol yeah kinda sounds like the donald duck choir

  • @Reconite11 And what does E1M1 sound like on your PC?

You can download the midi almost anywhere.

It's really weird how people think this and the 32X Doom sound bad when they sound very similar to the original midis in most sound cards at the time.

You had to get an AWE 32 or better to get good Doom music back in the day.

We're spoiled now since we have Sycraft's mixes I guess.

SNES' tracks were the worst though.

    SNES' forced music compression = : (

  • @PimpUigi Nah, SNES tracks were ambient and echo-ey, but kept the original themes. I liked them quite a bit. The PSX tracks changed the whole theme completely.

  • @Reconite11 Atari Quackuar

  • @Reconite11 Quackquack quack quack quack quackquack

  • hey, the jaguar doom dosen't have the music, and what doom is come this music?

  • The Jaguar played the music at the end of each level only. It included at bonus track which I can't find anywhere!

  • i like it

  • huh, when i played doom on the jaguar i never got sound... must of been the cartige....

  • WTF!?

  • This game was teen on gba but mature on the other...

  • the bodys disapered there were green blood and there was no gore

  • the jaguar didnt have music, if you dont belive it go see for your self on avgn atari jaguar part2

  • wow ediot i said it doesnt larn how to read btw avgn rules

  • Wow the irony in this comment is astounding.

  • I'd take the Jaguar version over the 32X version any day.

  • well, at least it sounds kind of like the original... the 32x one sounds like it has two instruments:

    - a fart

    - a zipper

  • what doom music is the most horrible?:

    -the jaguar version

    -or the 32X version

  • 32X is far far worse, this isn't that bad really.

  • @Ehal256 also 32x is not that BAAD, GBA version realy sux

  • @MrHeavymetaldrummer Latle,y I've been enjoying the 32X version, so I take that back. Kind of..

  • @Ehal256 no it isnt >:( better than ya face

  • @legobaxter actually, lately, i've been enjoying the 32x version.

  • @Ehal256 both are bad..but I think this sounds worse.

  • @Ehal256 the bad thing is that is in a bad consol, this is the only god game for the jaguar, and you have to admit that :D

  • @kanek999 AvP for the jaguar is supposed to be good, but aside from that, yeah....

  • @kanek999 Actually, Attack of the Mutant Penguins wasn't that bad of a game, and neither was Mutant League Football. Those are the only ones though, but what do all three of those games have in common?

Mutants (or aliens in Doom's case) and excessive amounts of violence!

  • @Ehal256 Choose between ducks or farts.

  • This isn't half bad at all; it's wavetable w/no reverb, kinda like a Gravis Ultrasound which was a top-of-the-line sound card at PC Doom's release...

  • Wow, they really fucked this up, I mean sega got it wrong yeah, but, Damn! this is horrible.

  • Sounds like a bunch of Goose' and Ducks.

  • Thank god they didn't want any music on the Jaguar!

  • has anyone noticed the picture on the game is backwards lol

  • If it was the other way, the marine in the background would be covered, and most of the doom guy in the foreground would be covered

  • it. isnt.

  • nope your right it is. nvm.

  • its bad but its not as bad as the 32x version

  • Oh my fucking god. My ears are puking.

  • To all that hate this version: Thank your lucky stars ur not listening to the 32x version O_o

  • You know I'm not able to say any version of DOOM sucks when it comes to music. I think they are ALL classics. :)

  • The 32X version was truly an abomination to the classic theme. Look it up.

  • I've heard it. I have it on my mp3 player because it's a part of DOOM's history.

  • It wasn't that bad.

  • the 32x was a flat out abomination PERIOD.

  • the music for doom was

  • Sounds like armpit farts to me

  • Makes my ears bleed

  • The music isn't even that bad...not too far from the PC, and contrary to what others have said, I think it's a lot better than the SNES music which, to me, sounded way overdone.

  • The snes music was overdone a bit, but the 3DO was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY overdone.

  • I completely agree. I hated it. The Jag comes the closest to the original music of the PC version. Those that disagree need to listen to it again!
