no Phil Carey the person who played Asa died on February 6, 2009. he died of lung cancer

Phil Carey had just died last year, as you may know. But Asa died a couple years before Phil Carey passed. Viki's alters name was Niki Smith.

Well, I personally would have voted for another week of Viki in heaven for the 40th anniversary and to bring back as many of the old characters as possible. I was not happy that her daughter Megan was not there, though it was a nice touch to see Erin Torpey as her granddaughter Megan. I know it was impossible, of course, to bring Lee Patterson back as Joe Riley since he is really dead, but I think to have given some homage to Joe would have been very appropriate.

this is oltl at its best the mid and late 80's! where are the episodes with mitch's release from prison in 86 and when he attemted to rape cassie when dorian killed him. also when gabrielle,max,tina,cord,kate and jamie sanders were in argentina and when max holden 1st came to lanview to be asked by maria roberts to seduce tina. when maria roberts died tryin to kill tina! these are the best episodes of OLTL.
