I adore the Divine Miss Sarah [Sassy] Vaughan! In a class all by herself. My biggest regret is that I had not developed my passion for her by 1987 and turned down the opportunity to see her live in Toronto- hindsight is a wonderful - and annoying - thing!

Cannot be in 1990. Sass was gone in April 1990. She did her last concert with George, Andy and Harold in Tokyo in 1989, Looks like Frank Collette piano, Bob Maize on bass and I didn't see the drummer.

There's no such thing as better, just different.......trying to compare Ella to Billy or Sarah or Carmen, etc..., is just retarded!!! Just a connection I made...Amy Winehouse views Miss Sarah Vaughn as an inspiration- as mentioned in her song October Song where she references Vaughn. And she also has a song called Just Friends, the song Sarah is performing now. I just thought this was interesting...Great performance by the way.
