  • i dont like the spanish from spain

spain spanish sounds so.. Funny xD

  • aclaración, el vosotros se utiliza en españa, exceptuando las islas y andalucía en los cuales se utiliza el ustedes, como latinoamérica.

  • bitch u lieing no one beleive him he dont know this shyt because if its you=tu n you= the fucing same thing we not having fun u ugly azz man!

  • @chelliebaby56 no no in latin based languages they have you-formal and you-informal. formal is someone is what you would say to a group of people or someone older like a teacher or parent (plural and or formal people) you as informal is what you would address a friend. English had this same concept a long time ago in the shakespear dayss...thou and thee...remember?

  • excuse me sir, but what about "ello" isn't it "it"?

  • Thank you..Gracias..:)

  • @orewojamasuruna Fuck you man. Spanish from Spain is different than the South America one. That doesnt mean that it is better.

Os estais diciendo que nuestro idioma es de trolos? Bua...Trata de respetar el de cada uno

  • Thank you very much!

  • If you are talking a group of both males AND females, you would use Ellos or Ellas?

  • @JungleListSoldier Ellos.

  • @JungleListSoldier we use "ellos" when there is a group of both males and females, you must to use ELLOS

  • ' Is 'yo' to be pronounced as 'jyo' ?

  • @SuperEsbee "Y" of "Yo" = "J" of "Jack"

(yo soy una persona, yo estoy aquí , yo voy a comprar)

but the word "Y" = "and" pronounced as "E" (negro y blanco = black and white)

  • @SuperEsbee

No, you just prounounce it as "Yo". I think because of his accent it kind of sounded like a j was put in front.

  • The pronunciation is not clear in some cases. Could you please give the english version of the pronunciation also side by side. For example, 'yo' is being heard like 'jo' in english. 'Ella' is being heard as 'Eyya' in english. 'hola' is being heard as 'ola' without the 'h' sound of english. Kindly clarify.

  • MISTAKE:

Ustedes is the plural of Usted

    and

Vosotros is the plural of Tú

Spain uses both Ustedes as a formal manner of speaking while using Vosotros is used when speaking to a group of friends, children, etc.

  • we is used like this : if a male is speaking "nosotros", if a woman is speaking but there is only more female involved then we use "nosotras" , but if female says we and male is involved then we use "nosotros"@Wyzzkyd

  • we is used like this : if a male is speaking "nosotros", if a woman is speaking but there is only more female involved then we use "nosotras" , but if female says we and male is involved then we use "nosotros"

  • @ihatetokiohotel678 really???

  • @riefzone yeah, sure!

  • Okay, I know this might sound stupid. But what if "THEY" are both males and females? what do you call it then??

  • @glemdet35 It would be Ellos. If you´re talking about girls and boys together: Ellos!

  • @glemdet35 when male and female are mixed you must use the male meaning ELLOS,

  • ¿No te volaste el USTED? Es importantísimo. En inglés no se usa en español sí...y en alemán también.

    Du: Tú

    Sie: Usted.

  • does anyone perhaps know a freee online course??

  • @D3Divas livemocha

  • You speak english quite well, te felicito.

  • You plural = vosotros

    ustedes = formal version

  • so if ever i just want to say "THEY ARE ULTIMATE IDIOTS", all i have to say is "Ellas Ultimato idiotos,..

    correctivo?....:-/

  • @kevin080592 we dont say 'ultimate idiots' there is no traduction for that. you can say 'ellos son idiotas' (they are idiots)

  • jajaja, esta bien las clasesitas; te quedo bien, if u can do it, transalte im saying!!!

  • @LincolnSixEch0

OMG spanish translation overload omy galeeeee!!!

  • it is esto or esta or este smart one

  • "tu" is only used in mexico. Vos (which was not covered in the video) is used in Central America and South America. I would never never use tu.

  • @kenticoliguista 'tu' is also used in south america. 'vos' is used in spain

  • @slyrachet101 Any time it is a mixed gender, it is ellos

  • @slyrachet101 ellos

  • Here in Spain "Usted" is used for old aged people or Sirs.

And of course for the rest is "Vosotros". (Except in some parts of Andalucia and Canarias, where even between young people is used "Usted").

Greetings and thank you for expand my language worldwide!

  • @slyrachet101 3 girls and 3 boys are "Ellos". Greets!

  • @slyrachet101 You should say "ellos". For "we" you should say "nosotros"

  • Do female guys exist?

Just kidding, I very good job :)

  • I'm still trying to get this feminine and masculine thing. What i dont get is when to use nosotros or nosotras. What if there's both men and women in the group?

  • @ItsElle419 you say nosotros.

  • @ItsElle419 If there are both men and women in the group, you use the masculine pronoun "nosotros" :]

  • There´s one thing i could add to this explanation. You= tú informal, usted Formal. I live in Colombia. I don't use Tú, when i'm talking to another man, older people, or people who a don't know. I reffer to them like "usted" I reffer "Tú", when i'm talking to a friend of mine, which is my friend, and besides is a girl. "Tú" is not for every body. "Usted" is "you" in formal way.

  • thanks a lot

  • 1 tip to learn Spanish fast and proper go to Spain with a laptop with the program visual link Spanish on it.

to get visual link Spanish free go to my Spanish videos for the link! and see how much better it is than what ever else youve been trying

    Kanye West.

  • It = Neutral????....

    I speak spanish....

    it = esto

and....dont worry, just forget about vosotros....that's a very old word...

    just say....ustedes ;)

  • IT is not "Esto"... in fact, "Esto", in English is "THIS"

Rufina8, you are confused, and please don't confuse others.

  • excuse me but not!! ''vosotros'' is a very important pronoun if someone is going to travel to Spain!

Here in México and Latin America, we also use ''vosotros'' but only in some poetry and in our national anthems!

we also learn it at school

  • ALL FUCKING SWEET!!

  • yeah!

  • When i use ustedes?

if i use vosotros, they are gonna understand me, where ever i am?

  • the word "ustedes" is used in mexico

"vosotros" is used in spain, if you are talking with a mexican you have that use "ustedes" , sorry but my inglish sucks

  • Tu no has salido en tu vida de México por lo que veo.

Ustedes es usado en todos los paises de habla hispana, incluida España.

En España en una conversación formal no se utiliza el "vosotros"

  • Oh yeah! if you use Vosotros, they're gonna understand you wherever, but Ustedes is used in Mexico, but if you are in Spain, you must say Vosotros, becouse Ustedes is to show respect to a person older or with higher status.

  • Don't worry, i'm mexican, here in México and in the other latin America countries we use ''ustedes'' (EVERYTIME)!!!

We also use ''vosotros'', but only in some poetry, and in our national anthems!

The only country that still uses ''vosotros'' is Spain

    Regards ....

  • I liked your video very much and can you explain me their are 2 kinds of YOU in SPANISH , then when is TU used and when is USTEDES/VOSOTROS spoken in SPANISH?

  • Tu is 2nd singular person and Ustedes/Vosotros is 2nd plural person. TU is used when you refer onlyl to one person and Ustedes/vosotros when refering to 2 or more. Hope it helps.

  • No se mucho ingles, por lo que puede ser que lo hayas mencionado sin haberlo escrito, pero faltaria algo:

    You = Tú / USTED

You = Vosotros (male) / VOSOTRAS (female) / Ustedes

    Aun asi buena iniciativa!! Saludos.

  • Do you say "Yo" with very slight J sound? Almost like the name "Joe", but barely pronounced? That's what it kind of sounds like to me, when you say it.

  • Gracias, very helpful, please keep posting!

  • ahhh i love spanish, just sexy

  • Gracias.

  • So, nosotros for a group of men and nosotras for a group of women. However, what if I want to talk about a mixed gender group?

  • nosotros, same with a mixed group of children, ninos, ninas only if all of the kids are girls.

  • and if u have like a group of 85972845738457 girls, and only 1 guy, its nosotros, becuz that ONE guy made it masculine :P

  • Seems odd to me.

So, do you have to spend hours investigating the possibility of a male being in a crowd before deciding which version to use? I suppose if you are not sure, you just say nosotros.

If there were a group of boys/girls and you were to use the wrong form, does that offend them?

  • haha i have no clue i just take spanish at school :P

  • u renita lopeno el spanio frete nuedo

  • Thank you, please keep it coming!

  • por mas que expliques tus disque cursos de Español, un pinche gringo de mierda nunca aprendera Español, ¿de veras crees que con ese prenunciacion ininteligible los gringos te van a entender?, hablas bien chistoso, parece como si te estuvieras ahogando en tu propia saliva jajajaja

  • imbecil... el que hace el video es hispanohablante...no gringo

  • shantells97

What? He speaks perfect English.I understood everything he said perfectly.

  • you're obviously not very open minded...if you were you'd realize he speaks english quite well...perhaps you're just used to hearing people speak "ghetto" and forgot what real english sounds like

  • in latinamerica we dont use vosotras and vosotros just en spain used..

  • thats soo shit im from middel europe we have to learn first english french and than italiian&& spaniish (at the same time )

    fuck it

i hate french xD ii wanna learn spaniish its such a beautifuL language x:]

(big sorry to frenchs // i just hate your language) :S

  • Well yeah but it depends where you come from like i n spain they would pronounce v "b" but in i cuba and i think ecuador its jus v

  • have FUCK..have fun with the next lesson! coooool :DDDD

  • Also is the female way of saying vosotors...vosotras?

  • What if "they" are male and female..then what do you say?..

  • If it is mixed gender they you say ellos even if there is 99 girls and only one boy. That is the way it is. x

  • i knew very little spanish and with your help i am learning more. I have been threw your lessons 2 times, and 9 lessions is not enough. lol. Please dont stop. could up work up to using more sentences. thanks

  • ermm...what is the diffrence between the 2 "you"'s i never got tht??

I mean when is each one used?

  • tu es informal y usted es formal. its like proper grammar and non proper grammar

  • Hello, in english we have You for singular and plural, but in spanish there is "Tu" for singular and "Ustedes or Vosotros" for plural (depending the region, in Spain they use Vosotros)

  • @easyspanish actually just about every single western language has different words for singular and plural lol. Thats why english is so easy. No genders either. So funny hearing y'all and you guys instead lol ;D

  • @easyspanish or soemtimes, liek french, it;s used to talk to an authority of respected figue(i think)

  • @fatgirlslim3 My teacher told me that ustedes is multiple you... usted is like a formal way to say you, like when you are talking to someone older that you.

  • Hello! I'm from Spain and we use "Vosotros" in Spain for the second person of the plural, we only use "Ustedes" in a formal way, if I'm talking to my parent's friends and it is the first time i talk to them I can use boths but if I know them i will use Vosotros...obviously if I'm talking to the kings I will use Ustedes.

But it is differente in south america, they use Ustedes the whole time, they dont use vosotros...it is vey strange for us but we undertand, of course, what they say.

  • I'm from spain so i dont agree at all when he says that its more important to learn sayin ustedes instead of vosotros...i think taht the spanish from spain is the real spanish....I guess that it happens the same way with america and england...

  • @penilinlot el elpañol de españa es una caca xD. Los latinos hablamos mejor XD

  • =D Great lesson! Thx very much!!

  • You are a very good teacher. To begin with your Spanish accent distracted me a bit, but I quickly got used to it. It's a great course, can't wait for the 7th video! :0)
