this has got to be there best song on there new cd by far. its the only new track that even comes close to 90s pumpkins. the live show still looks awesome tho.
Pumpkins were awesome [and I love this song], as were NIN, so it was a great closing night... much better than RHCP the night before, which was worse for me than most people there, as I'd seen them play live and play well. Was a shame that the coverage was only 4 songs but if you want full "coverage", buy a ticket and go!
Ginger Reyes? Lol i totally agree, probably the best looking musician ever (apart from Carah Faye of course, Shiny Toy Guns for people who don't know)
they probably won't come back because according to my dad the last time came here people got crushed.Let's hope they come back to Ireland.Gotta love Ginger on the bass!
i was at that gig, it was 1996 in the point, i was only 13, a girl died at that gig, she was 17, Bernadette O'Brien, she got crushed in the crowd and passed out, she died later that night, it wasn't over crowded, the crowd were just goin mad cause it was the pumpkins, it wasn't a pure mosh pit all the same!!! Billy n D'arcy were pleeading to the crowd to calm down but the in end they all walked off. I hope to see the pumpkins here again, but i don't know if we will

I shuffled forward to the front row for the Pumpkins Nin were magnificent too they don't make em like they used to! Interested in in dark/Ambient music? check out Lana,Flatspin, Halo-ego-trip on our films here under chanceencounters and website chance-encounters.o r g
Awesome i was in the front row too! Fought my way there the opening dark music was by 'the Goblins' from the horror film 'Susperia' But the pumpkins kicked ass, fans know they are always different live than to the albums in most cases and do great 'for fan' epic versions of the songs like the 20min version of Heavy metal machine!
They best play some of them on the Highlights on BBC3 in about 20 mins as Video didn't tape while I was there in the masses at Reading, anyone know where You can get the full show shot by the BBC...uncut!? 11:40pm Mon
i was at the front!! bullet with butterfly wings was amazing and zero but im so fucking gutted they didnt play disarm and silverfuck :( that girl flashed her tits lol
I saw these in leeds and they were amazing we kinda got ripped of for the tour costumes though only ginger had her suit on me and my friend wanted billy to wear his dress ^^
Yeah I was there, hardly anyone was at shit Klaxons the crowd were going nuts, they were easily the best band, the sound was perfect and Billy's guitar and singing was fucking awesome!!!!
i got so pissed off when they played ALL of the chili's and razorlights sets, and ended up playing 4 of the pumpkins songs! they were talking while bullet with butterfly wings was playing! =[
exactly, i could hear zero and they cut to some guy talking to people getting on a ferry yet they showed that some piano playing bullshitter who talked instead of singing twice! and now they've only got 4 songs up on the website there's more footage of the subways than smashing pumpkins wtf, radio one needs a kick up the arse
I stayed up til half 3 last night watching the coverage and I can't understand why they played full sets from bands The View but only 2 songs from the headlining Pumpkins! Then again it's England and they're not really that much of a big deal here. I guess it's just not what the Radio One kids want
One day I'll see them!!!, BBC's coverage was really bad tho, last year we had 9 of 10 songs from Feeder's set (was there lst year), and all of Muse's. Why not repeat the same idea this year?!.
Still, at least we didn't get 5 showing of the same song from the same band!!. Remember Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" being played ad infium on BBC during Glasto 04?.
they played Belfast for nearly 3 hours straight and barely stopped for breath. it was OUTSTANDING.

I'm a bit disappointed they left out disarm, ava adore and thirty three but it was still amazing. Best act there. The Chillis had a crap song lineup.

1979, probably their most commercially successful songs, though definately not my favourite.
