the off scale thing maybe a little, but this song is played with a pick when flea plays it. he doesn't use the double thumb.

as a review on this video, not bad, but it the guitar needs to be tuned before you play a song for youtube. i am almost 100% sure that he is out by about a half step flat at points.

BASS PLAYER.. practice the strumming action without holding any notes, by yourself,its the hardest thing to do in the song for you..dont be messing with your knobs in the middle of the song.. get the level right before starting.The drumming in this song is everthing.. one slip and the whole song is fucked.. anyway keep rcking

im gonna be nice here. that was a decent cover, far from great. like everyone said, turn up the bass, lower the guitar (volume and height), and try relaxing when you play. you look so uptight and nervous. the key is to let yourself go and get lost in what you are playing. thats when the magic happens. oh and guitarist: try to rethink the solo, it was fairly bad. and get a singer
