Tell me what is meant by Technical death metal, is there a mathematical formula that defines a Technical death metal band ? Even in the example that you have given other than death metal the bands don't even sound similar. Wiki pedia defines it as "Technical death metal (sometimes called tech death) is a subgenre of death metal that focuses on complex rhythms, riffs, heavier blast beats, and song structures." based on that how do you differentiate bands...it's a relative sub genre of death metal
