Thanks so much for your prompt reply unfortunately I live in the UK and the price is prohibitive but now I know what it looks like I will try to find it here .
They are made by a company called "Furmost". I bought mine at my local Hobby Store, but Tower Hobbies sells them as well. Go there and type in "Bomb" and they will come right up. A few dollars each. Cheers!
hello, can you post a video about your camera setup? I have a Nexstar Select (not EP) and was wanting to put a camera on it. I just have a digital camera, but I notice that that is all you have too:P. Anyways, if you cant post the video can you please reply and I will give you my email or something.
The kit is only around 45 bucks or so. Total cost to build with motor, esc, battery, servos and receiver (without radio) is around $500.00 (Excluding Camera)
Mountain models sells the kit called the Magpie AP plane. You have to build it. You will also need a motor, esc, 3+ servos, receiver, radio, battery etc. Total cost will run in the $700.00 range. The release parts are available at any hobby shop.
what you should do is take a tray or somting and fill it wit those popper snapper things and drop that. that way you have multable "bombs" hitting the street in quick sucsesson. if you do this film it from the plane and from the area you drop them. i think it would be a realy cool way to demonstrate other things you can drop.
hey i basically want to know all of the parts needed and how to remotely trigger it.... PM me please.... im using a crappy plane but decently powerful so i need another controller to trigger it.... thanks again
All of the parts are shown in the video. It is triggered with the servo, which is actuated via the radio. If you don't have a free radio channel, this won't work out for you. Cheers.
Great and simple enough. But I was thinking if I could make an internal "bomb bay" in my Maule because there is soooo much space in it...do you have any ideas? If I could upload some photoes could you help me? Thank you in advance. Harry
what you should try is making a cap bomb it explodes on contact and drop it from that mechinism they are very light so you could put multiple bombs on it search youtube on how to make them very easy to make they take like 2 mins to make
i don't understand how to link the servo to my rc plane, there's no input for it anyway and i dont know what to solder where

If you don't have an extra spot on your receiver, you won't be able to add another servo. What type of radio system are you using?
