Vriend, hoe heb je het opgelost met de kabelboom?

Ik heb zelf een E36 en ben al van 1.8 (m43) naar 2.5 (M50) gestapt (318i sedan), en nu zit ik te kijken naar een E39 5.0 M5 V8 blok, of een M70 5.0 V12 blok (zoals die van jou)..

Hoe heb je je auto zijn kabelboom verenigd met de kabelboom v.d. blok en hoe zit het met de carterpan/stuurkolom/uitlaat spruitstukken en motor ophanging..? Heb je een topic/forum/project pagina waar ik alles kan terug na lezen?

@zahed1984 You can tell it's already got stiffer than normal suspension. It's lower than stock. It just looks squishy, because even uprated stiffer suspension kits don't really take into consideration the difference is weight of an I4 or I6 and a V12.

@wbi007 Ik ben niet bekend met de regels in Belgie. Maar hier in NL wordt er ook Premie betaald afhankelijk van motorvermogen. Je kan er wel omheen door niets te melden bij uw verzekering , maar dat is wel reden voor hun om schade niet uit te keren bij een ongeval. Gr M!

@lyesssssssssss Yes it is. But with an litte imagination you can make another gearbox fit. I've seen v12's with E30 325 gearbox and customized V8 gearbox.

Zodra je het aantal cilinders gaat veranderen, dan moet je naar de RDW en daar wordt getest of je wagen het vermogen kan hebben... Daar word je niet vrolijk van kan ik je zeggen :D heel je chassis wordt getordeert

@BMWDude88 Dat is niet geheel waar. Het is idd legaal om er een andere motor in te bouwen met een gelijk aantal cilinders , maar neemt het vermogen toe met meer dan 40% dan ben je alsnog verplicht om te herkeuren bij de RDW.

Het vermogen staat namelijk op het kentekenbewijs. Het voertuig moet altijd overeenkomen met de gegevens op het kentekenbewijs. Als men bij (politie)controle vermoedt dat dat niet klopt ben je niet verzekerd en loop je kans dat het kenteken wordt ingenomen.

if you want power, do a 3.2 stroker, 351 dual overhead cam, aluminum flywheel, bore the cylinders out 34 over and put high performance pistons in all to a 6 cylinder and you can hit 60 in 3.2 seconds.

Hmmm.... Jammer dat je er geen handbak van hebt gemaakt....

Maar uh... hoe heb je dat ding door de APK gekregen? Hij staat nog als 316i op kenteken en dus als 4cilinder..... Een V12 erin is dus APK afkeur... Of heb je het na die tijd gedaan? Dan zal je toch straks problemen krijgen....

In de apk regeling was de afgelopen twee of drie jaar geen controlepunt voor aantal cilinders , dus ook geen reden om hem hierop af te keuren. Inmiddels is dit weer terug ingevoerd per 1 mei dit jaar. Dus ik was precies op tijd voor een jaartje proefrijden voordat ik hem laat omkeuren.

Automaat is inmiddels stuk , en een handbak stond al op het programma dus daar ben ik hard mee bezig,
