I already knew that defintion of mod the answer to the question that im looking(what is a mod for fixing a ps3?) I took my ps3 in for the YLOD, and the tech told me he tried to mod it twice and it didnt take I have seen vids on sumthing called reflow where the motherboard is removed and reflow the solder (heat up the gpu and other chip sets) . I want 2 know is does that sound like what he may have dun or did he try sumthing else? basicly im asking is it the same thing?

Yea, but modding is modding, no matter what you do to it. If you do something to change the stock version of the product in terms of customization (even small details), it's a mod.

Ofcourse, putting an air freshener or a steering wheel cover on a car wouldn't be considered as a mod but changing out tail lights, adding a body kit, custom paint job, engine upgrades, etc.... I consider as mods.

Madden has issues with the commentary and overall presentation,my largest complaint.2K5 had weekly sporscenter wrap up shows and halftime shows with great quality voice acting.Madden is a fuckin joke.
