i played this game on EPSXE. i already finished everything in disc 1 but i do not know how to continue on to disc 2. there is no save prompt. it just says insert disc 2. everytime i choose continue game on disc 2 it says please insert disc 1.

how can i get on to disc 2?? anyone knows???

hahahaha... boys i already figured out how to get to disc 2.

you need to have the original chrono cross cd. use 1st the disc 1 then continue on your last save file. enter the fate distortion and it should tell you to insert disc 2. insert disc 2 then press esc, click on "change disc>cdrom" then click ok. this should get you to disc 2. then save so you can continue with the ISO..

Use PSX.FIN instead of EPSXE emulator.. its a complete version of playstation emulator.

what program did you use to insert these? for some reason, no sound file (even tested ones, even this one, even songs ive used for other games) works on my CC or FF9 icons. Everything else ive tried so far has worked fine, everything from inserting them with autopopstation4 during eboot creation to patching the eboot with pspbrew or popstation gui. yours clearly works. any idea what im missing?

just place the .pmf and .at3 files into the core data folder before you create the eboot. . hope that helped a little.

can someone tell me why i cant emulate this game on the ePSxe emu for the pc? all games works but when i try to start "new game", nothing appears just black screen...and i ve waited like 10 minutes. nothing :(

haha, i had this problem until a friend of mine told me about it. create a new shortcut for ePSXe, one you'll only use for crono cross. after that, click properties, then go to the text box where you can enter text. right after all the text, at the end, enter the words "-noauto" without the quotation marks. should work.

As far as the PC... there are emulators like EPSXE and such but they all have trouble running Chrono Cross and some Final Fantasy games.

not really, as long as your computer is at least somewhat current these games play just fine. sometimes needs some tweaking, but generally pretty (i know because i was playing cc the other day :P)
