  • Beautiful! :)

  • @bakuganluv1

    Thank you so much!

I'm glad you're satisfied with the result!

    ^_^

  • cool videos, i learned alot but i constantly had trouble finding the lessons i wanted

i made an organized list of links to the lessons on my blog if anyone else is having the same problem....i posted a link on my youtube home page

  • @dsmitsmit

    Thank you again!

    ^_^

  • thanks that steps from origami austria was hard on step 17 thank you!!

  • @Duhdudepokemonlove

Yes, some steps in this model are a bit challenging!

Thanks to you, for being so kind!

    :-)

  • fuck this shit if u want origami just request it from RobH0629

  • @yurboiisilly

    Hey people out there!

If you want kindness and respect just do *not* request them from yurboiisilly!

  • @danbergam rob is nice and hes not my channel dumbass

  • @yurboiisilly Did I even mention Rob? No, because there's space enough for all the origami demonstrators. I was talking about you being senslessly rude towards me, about this origami rose. Where do you think you're going, being rude like that? Remember: "Make no mistake: God is not mocked, for a person will reap only what he sows," (Gal 6:7) What are you spreading in the world? Be careful, because whatever we do to the others will return to us, soon or later. Please, walk a path of Love!
  • LO ENKONTRE MUI MALO XQ NO MUETRAN LOS PASOS KOMO SE ASE LA FOROR NADA DE NADA OCE XANTA MULA I TOO :/ MUI FOME

  • @thomsantonio

  • can you please repeat this video... because all i see are your fingers =/

  • @DryW3t

I think the following explanations should serve:

Some explanations I've given many times before:

42: the part with a square and 2 triangles (let's call it A) must be, respect to the rest, like the - of a T respect to the |

43-44: origami upside-down. In A and only in A make those 2 diagonal folds \

46: from 2:24, open and flat the "white cross" for to obtain a white square.

At the same time, the 4 red flaps on the other side must be flatten too.

Look the result at around 2:49.

  • @danbergam thank you, but i have seen it from comments below.

but i dont know english very well (i dont know some words and i dont get it).

i will try to do it later... and np for sub. you deserve it and i love your origami =)

  • @shoonewolff0215

#45: in step #44 you've made those diagonal folds in the square at the base of the figure.

Now, in step #45 you open the figure to a cross, and with the help of those #44 folds you obtain a shape like this

    /

    |

at the left of each cross' arm.

  • Nvm

  • @Bloodelvenfox

    Glad you solved it!

    ^_^

  • How do you do step 45?

  • super lindo..!!!

  • @lahacker22

    Muchas, muchas gracias!

  • thanks for the tut!!!

  • @ungesicht9099

Thanks *to you*, for your kindness!

    :-D

  • Dangit i wish i could see what you were doing half the time!!

  • @pyroan12

  • good but hard

  • @PKBallmedia

Yes, it's a challenging figure... thank you for stopping by and commenting!

    ^_^

  • lol i know but thx it worked

  • @daredseanyoyo42

Haha, this is the most important thing!

Thank you for letting me know!

    :-)

  • step one thousand

  • @daredseanyoyo42

Hahaha! Naah, come on, they aren't *so many*!

  • finally! i got it! it took me forever just to figure out how to do with you poor vid, gosh let us see what you are doing be folding where the camera is!

  • @miniKamichanMinami

I'm an origami beginner too, and sometimes while I'm all busy in making a fold it ends that I lose the control of how the image is centered... the good thing is that we're talking a piece of paper and some moves may be actually figured out with a little effort... in a way, this could actually increase one's satisfaction for having completed the whole thing!

    ^_^;;

  • @danbergam i had to watch it a few times.....the last comment was from when i got frustrated trying to figure it out..sorry, -_-; now that i look at it though it looks more like a hibicus flower a little...

  • @miniKamichanMinami

Haha, look like today we both got a little frustrated for our own reasons and accidentally discharged these frustrations against each other! xD

Don't mind, things that happen! :-)

    An hibiscus flower?!

    *googles it*

You know what? You're right! 8-O

It's quite similar, in a way!

  • i ended up with something that looks like it... not very beautiful but it looks like it, ty so much, im so giving with to my mom with the heart with a pocket =D

  • @arberdemaj1

Now, that's a beautiful idea, I'm sure that your mom will appreciate it so much... for the rose, for the heart... and, most of all, because your kind, loving thought!

Thanks to you, for your kindness and your patience... and for putting a sweet smile on my face!

    :-D

  • @danbergam i made like 20 by now and they get more beautiful each time i make them, now they look just like yours.

  • @arberdemaj1

    20?! Wow!

To repeat always helps: I'm sure that you will be able to make way better than me!

    :-D

  • @danbergam cool, i hope so :P

  • @arberdemaj1

    xD

  • a lot people get stuck at step 43-46. Me 2.. ive seen your replies but i still dont get it, could you please make another vid which is clearer?

  • @arberdemaj1

Don't know if it would be clearer than this, it's a strange step.

Anyway, step #46 is just that: while you flatten the white cross to obtain white square, you also flatten the red flaps on the other side so that they all follow the same orientation (clock or counter-clock); it should happen quite naturally, by using the creases made at step #44 in that red square.

One advice: try and try again, considering how it looks now and how the result has to look like!

  • the final; result is NOT nice its just a crumpled peice of paper... you might wanna hold it in view of the camera i think it would be helpful if you could see what your doing

  • Honestly, I don't really feel the will to remake this video: most of the steps consist in repetitions of previous steps, and it usually happens that even if for an iteration of Step X my hands are of the camera, there is another one of the same step for which my hands are correctly positioned.

I think that to try again may help you get a better result.

  • wow so many folds... but i did it!! haha!

    thank you for the upload!

  • Oh, definitely it has a lot of folds... but, hopily, it's worthy of the effort!

Thanks to you for letting me know your satisfaction... congratulations!

    ^_^

  • i lost me at step 44.

  • Just look some comments below and you'll find some hints I gave for that step as well as for other ones.

  • i dont get step 44 at all PLEAS HELP :)

  • Just look some comments below and you'll find some hints I gave for that step as well as for other ones.

  • OMG! i actually managed to make this. it's so coooool! :D

    thanks!

  • Congratulations for making it: yes, it's quite a cool paper flower!

    You're welcome!

    :-D

  • Me ha quedado! Muchas gracias!

  • De nada... muchas gracias a ti!

    :-)

  • i know its confusing i think u should put the camera hirer so people can see

  • The problem is not that the camera is too low: the problem is that, sometimes, I was so concentrated on making the steps that I didn't pay enough attention on keeping my hands on the camera.

Honestly, to re-make this video is not in my plans; those hints I'm copying & pasting again and again seem enough for to solve any problem with it.

  • i cant see anything it looks like u lift the origami paper so i cant finish

  • Have you read the advices I've given to others?

42: the part with a square and 2 triangles (let's call it A) must be, respect to the rest, like the - of a T respect to the |

43-44: origami upside-down. In A and only in A make those 2 diagonal folds \

46: from 2:24, open and flat the "white cross" for to obtain a white square.

At the same time, the 4 red flaps on the other side must be flatten too.

Look the result at around 2:49.

The more you are precise, the better I can help.

  • step 45 - ....cant se anithing :$

  • If you had searched in the other comments, you would have found that I have explained it many times.

    Here it comes again.

#45: in step #44 you've made those diagonal folds in the square at the base of the figure.

Now, in step #45 you open the figure to a cross, and with the help of those #44 folds you obtain a shape like this

    /

    |

at the left of each cross' arm.

  • thats well good

  • Thank you very much!

  • This whole video its hard to see what is happening... holding the paper to high (out of the frame completely sometimes) and also too clse to the camera. Part one didn't seem to have this issue. The finished product is beautiful :)

  • It sounds like, after all, the whole thing is not so hard to follow: because, after all, many steps are repeated more times, and not all the times my hands end being off camera.

One thing, for sure: I'm not perfect, and this video is a proof.

I repeat it: sounds like it was not so terrible, if you managed to finish it!

Yes, the final result is nice.

  • Never mind. Haha. Just took a little more patience and a little more time. Thanks! It looks great. :)

  • That's just the point: a little more patience, a little more time... and to try and try again! :-)

    Congratulations!

  • I really enjoy your videos. They really help. But I didn't understand step 44. ;-; Is it just a crease or do I actually fold part of the box down?

  • I can't tell what your doing in step #45, I'm really confused.

  • same here....

  • Is the second flower I try to do with your videos.

The first one came from the "Frog base". It was easy to follow and to remember... But these one... it has been really hard! It's much easier to just fold and fold straight away. This "wave shaped" foldings are... just a nightmare for me. (And step 46 :p)

But after all I do really appreciate your work!

    Thanks for this lessons!

  • I've replied to many comments, questioning about step #46, with a written explanation: who knows, it could help.

Yes, that's a quite strange step... each single time I've tried the diamond rose (not so many times, actually), it's been quite tricky for myself as well.

Thanks to you, for such great, great words!

    :-)

  • Yeah I finished it last night i dont know if its right if I send you a pic of it can you tell

  • Oh, I'm sure it's more than right, don't worry: if you like it, then it's right!

    ^_^

  • To give to an origami step some more tries usually helps!

    ^_^

  • Before step #46 you have a sort of cross: you have to flatten and pull its arms so that you obtain a square; this should help to have the flaps on the other side flatten as well.

  • Oh wow 46 i cant do it

  • Before step #46 you have a sort of cross: you have to flatten and pull its arms so that you obtain a square; this should help to have the flaps on the other side flatten as well.

  • wow I never have done origami and I made it this far am I good?

  • Congratulations for trying: that's the first, unrenounceable step needed for to begin... everything!

    ^_^

  • magaria=)

  • I managed to get to step 46 this time. Well actually I did get to the end and have a rose, just not nearly as pretty. 46 is about where I started to lose it but now I am confident with a little more practice I can make a beautiful rose. I am making it for a friend's birthday. I have the iris, soon the rose, and then I will try the lily. Thanks so much for these videos.

  • You're very welcome!

That's just the point: to try and try again is the key! ^_^

I think it'll end being a beautiful gift... and the fact is completely made by hand is a priceless feature!

    Have a happy everything!

  • yay! finally, I could do it! :D

I will try to do some more!

    thanks for the videos :)

  • Congratulations for doing it: your satisfaction is the best reward for me!

    Happy origami time, then!

Thanks to you, for putting a smile on my face!

    ^_^

  • *sigh* So far I never had any problems with your videos and then I get to this one and I can't figure anything out from the very beginning, and the first part of the rose went so well! I can't seem to see what you are doing, even when I went to read your tips I am still struggling. I guess I will take a break and try again tomorrow.

  • I think this is the best possible strategy: to take a pause and try again.

    You'll succeed, I'm sure.

  • i did it YAY!! after a week i finally got it down. thank yu for this awesome vid.

  • Thanks to you, for an even more awesome comment!

    ^_^

  • TO: Mr Origami Maker aka Great as always

Hey Great Rose!!! i Made 10 Already For My Wedding!!!!! Thx So Muchh!!!

    ps.R u Indian?Guyanese?Trinidadian?=)

  • That "Mr Origami..." made me smile, thank you so much, I don't deserve such great words!

    *smiles and blushes*

I'm so glad that you like it: I'm only demostrating it, I didn't invent it... but I'm so happy to have been able to help you a little for such a special day: I admire your will and patience (can't imagine how many roses you need to make)... I'm sure the result will be great! :-D

My best wishes for your wedding!

And... I'm from Italy, one of the most romantic places in the world! :-D

  • nope never heard of it

  • yeah man. we cant see anything

  • I've replied to many persons' comments, complaining about some steps, by writing a verbal description: just search in this page and you'll easily find it.

  • OMG between steps 45 and 46 we don't see a shit man.your hand are in front of the origami:|

  • Great video! At first, I could not understand the diagram . . .

    . . . Until I found this video! :-)

  • This is a really nice thing to say, thank you very much!

    :-D

  • Between steps 45 and 46 I almost gave up, so I had a little snack to get rid of my irritation, and at last... there's a beutiful little rose sitting on my desk.

    Thanks for the instructions! :)

  • To take a little pause... and to try again from various, different perspectives is often a good idea!

Be proud, you've made that rose with your own patience, will and ability!

    :-)

    Thanks to you!

  • luvs it but it too hard for me lol still i made something close and still pretty nice lol ur kicks mine's ass thou

  • Don't worry, I'm sure that a with a second try it'll get better!

    :-)

    Thank you for stopping by!

  • This looks so awesome *_* And it is not so difficult, your Video was great as always :)

  • You're so kind; and that final "great as always" just made my day!

    ^_^

    Thank you so much!

  • you went way to fast and did not get good angles of what you were doing

  • To watch it again, trying to understand and memorize each step before making it may help.

Also, I've copied & pasted several times some hints about the crucial steps; I'm sure you can succesfully complete it.

  • ty for making this vid, i dont need another vid., its pretty simple to make, and u savedme from buying my mom something worse than this but more expensive

  • Thanks to you!

I'm sure that your mom appreciated your thought a lot!

    ^_^

  • who is this rose by?

  • can u pls tell me how to do it, i could'nt see much

  • fuck this ugly thing

  • Maybe you don't realize that with a language like that, with an attitude like that, you don't offende me... but just yourself.

  • i got stuck at the beginning, can you explain how to do it? because your hands blocked the view and i cant see

  • Sei davvero bravo

  • Innanzi tutto, grazie mille.

  • Hehe, "...and origami for all" è una citazione, non so se rendo! ;-)

    ;-D

    Ciao, mito!

    xD

  • u dont rely show wat ur doing on step 45 can u make another video with adiio or words at the botom explaining wat u r doing

  • thank you so much for the video you posted mr. dan

i really loved origami ever since i was in my senior high school because i was admitted for a month in the hospital and my classmate visited me and brought me this flyer on how to do origami

it was actually a crane, and when i made it on my first try, i didnt believe myself

thanks to you i didnt have problems in doing the iris and the rose too

i didnt have a problem in following your steps

you have the best tutorial here on the net

    god bless :3

  • These words of yours, in their kindness and gentleness, have made me smile after a not so good day... that's why I thank you even more.

I think that origami may be something really great to apply to, when one stays in a hospital for a while and needs for something to keep its mind busy... and for to let his/her Soul fly beyond those walls... it's a sensation that I've known quite well, in my life.

Thank you so much, one of these days aa new tutorial will come!

    God bless you in return!

    :-D

  • i absolutely agree

when i was in the hospital i felt i was so useless and that i couldnt do anything

but when i tried origami i learned that there are things you can appreciate in such closed spaces that it actually takes you outside :3

and even now im in college im still continuing what i had started

the rose i made i gave it to my girlfriend and she gave me a kiss in return (yay! XD)

i was very delighted all thanks to you mr. dan :)

  • That's so right!

About your girlfriend and her kiss... well, me I just did put the instructions... but *you* had the idea, the will, the intention, the patience to turn that piece of paper in a rose... so, that kiss was just deserved!

My best wishes to you and her, mr. Pyorie!

    :-)

  • thank you very much mr. dan

ill be watching over your videos if ever i find something new to learn

    *waves dan banner*

    god bless :3

  • Happy watching... and happy origami time!

    *waves Pyorie banner*

    God bless you too!

    :-D

  • thanks for adding.thnx for taking away your time to add all this videos.

    god bless you!!!

  • Thanks *to you*, for blessing me: it's very kind and generous, from you!

May God bless you in return!

    ^_^

  • mine doesnt form up it keeps opening.....

  • Hmm... if I was in you I would check again the last steps.

  • thanks for the videos

  • Thanks to you for your feedback!

  • I'm stuck on 45, your hands are too close to the camera, you can't really see what you're doing!

  • No problem!

#45: in step #44 you've made those diagonal folds in the square at the base of the figure.

Now, in step #45 you open the figure to a cross, and with the help of those #44 folds you obtain a shape like this

    /

    |

at the left of each cross' arm.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hey! This is so cute! I made it! And it was beautiful! Thanks for the video!

  • Hey there! Thanks to you in return for letting me know your satisfaction: it's always great to know that my humble instructions effectively helped to make some origami!

    ^_^

  • Thank you for sharing you talent to make beauty. It is my pleasure to pray for you. Lovely

  • This is the first comment I've read today... a beautiful way to begin a new day that, thanks to all the prayers of you all out there, will be a bit more easy to go through...

Thank you so much... may God bless you for the beauty of your heart!

    :'-)

  • 1) How can "hold your breath for 10 seconds" be related to anything happening to an internet page background?!?

    THINK!

    2) Why post something like that, if there's no urgence and there's no effect at all?!?

    THINK!

    3) Why do you waste your and our time?!?

    THINK!

If you want to do something useful and worthy for this humanity, please google:

    BOINC

and find out how your computer may help scientific research to progress and solve problems!

  • dude...what kind of paper you use to make your videos?? (one color in one side and white or another color in the other side)

  • I take some old printer paper, thinner than the one used for copier/printer, and I draw one colored square (or two), then I print it and cut it out.

  • O_oUU my printer only print in black and white!! T__T (stupid laser XD)

  • Hehe, you may solve it, however: you may draw, print and cut a simple square (black border, white inside)... and then colour it by hand! ;-)

  • you call that easy! i agree with you

  • Have I defined it "easy"?

Anyway, it all depends on one's skills...

  • cant see step 45 ^o^

  • In step #45 you open the figure to a cross, and with the help of those #44 folds you obtain a shape like this

    /

    |

at the left of each cross' arm.

  • If you're searching for the previous parts, look at the description of this video.

  • no se ve desde el inicio

  • If you read the description, you may see the links to the previous parts.

  • loks weird but cool

  • Thank you.

  • I say it again....YOU AWESOME!

  • You're very, very kind!

    Thank you soooooooooooo much!

    ^_^

  • you welcome ^o^

  • great toturital but i guess i just aint experianced in origami enough XD

  • Oh, this one was a challenge for me too... but don't worry: if me, I was able to do it... then, everybody can do it!

    xD

Believe me, I'm a terrible origamist!

    ^_^;;

  • I checked it out: sorry, but in my opinion, it's quite clear how it has to be made.

  • ohhh..... ty danbergam ... i do it, is awesome .... i wanna do more flowers, i dont like the birds .......XD

  • Thanks to you for your kindness!

Who knows, maybe I'll share other tutorials for flowers!

  • Didn't get step #47 o.O

    How to make it

  • You take that little top square and collect its sides towards the centre, in order to obtain kind of a cross; at the same time, you turn it a little around.

  • i need help with 46. i looked at all of your other responses and im not using a paper with two different colors. its only white. so i dont understand the directions.

  • Ok.

So, before step #46 you have a sort of cross: you flatten and pull its arms so that you obtain a square; this should help to have the flaps on the other side flatten as well.

I'm sorry, but I fear that I'm not able to explain it better than this...

  • Comment removed

  • You'r not very well in the middle of de vieuw.

  • Yes, in some parts my hands are in the way.

But please consider that almost all of the steps are repeated a number of times: so, in one repetition my hands may be in the way... and in another repetition everything may be clearly seen.
