  • im going to have to try rice cakes never had them b4

  • Seriously? Sponsored videos now? And cheese ambassador? Thats an advertisement and should be labelled as such in the title!

  • sarah you look fantastic!!!! Wish I had your georgous glow!!!!

  • Cashews have SO many calories. Potato chips have less...

  • Hahaha in France, kids like to take the wax and make themselves a clown nose out of it :p

  • I'm going on vacation (to the Jersey Shore boardwalk) for a week and I really need some ideas of food to bring along.

The whole boardwalk is basically carnival food, and we only have a very small refrigerator in our room. I can only think of nuts as food to bring because of the storage. Any ideas Sarah? How long does the cheese stay good (like in a low watt fridge)?

  • @lhartlett idk how small you're talking with the fridge, but i would buy some cheese (it should keep), snack bars, peanut butter, rice cakes, and maybe some fruit like apples or bananas. They should last at least a few days unrefridgerated. :)

  • I can't stand any of the foods you showed. I'm lactose intolerant also.

  • miss you

  • @KellanK20 I thought babyel was part of laughing Cow

  • i thought cashews were the most fattening nuts...

  • Why would you need an alternative to sliced cheese?? Isn't it perfectly natural just the way it is?

  • @kelseybell426 But it's hard to carry around.

  • thx for the suggestions!!!

  • Sarah...I would like to ask you a question about weight loss, but privately. Is there any way I am able to do that? I did just follow you on Twitter like you suggested in this video...but am too shy to ask my question publicly.

  • @THEimaginista you could message her over youtube?

  • I always thought that Rice cakes are considered empty calories because they don't actually fill you up (of course it depends what you put on top since that could fill you up)??

  • @Stef6788 That's why I call them my vehicle for peanut butter haha. They are pretty much empty calories but most of the time when I eat them, it's either to control the peanut butter portion or it's my strategy to out smart my brain. Sometimes I'm not hungry but I just want something. Rice cakes are low cal and depending what you put on them, it satisfying that need

  • @SarahsFabChannel true!!i love rice cakes with salt and vinegar(already on them)but i usually have 1 or 2 with cottage cheese=),ive got a quick question sarah, hope u can reply...i read a comment above about a female whos fat percentage is same as mine(30%)id love to lower it too,but u mentioned -10%would be too much,so what u recommend, lower ir to 25%??cuz 30 is not exactly the healthiest...id love if u can reply, thanks very much!!ive missed ur vids,i havent comment in a while but always liiikee

  • hey sarah! i need some advice. im 20yrs old, 5'5 & 145lbs. My goal is to lose 10lbs more. I've lost just under 10lbs since march which im really proud of. my last weigh in was about a month ago & i was 146lbs. I upped my cardio alot & continued to eat healthy incorporating more fruits into my diet since everythings in season now. Losing 1lb in 1month is extremely aggravating. im afraid i've hit a plateau. what am i doing wrong or what should i be doing?? xoxox

  • @TMbeautyx instead of upping cardio, you should up strength training and lifting weights!!

  • @SarahsFabChannel thank you!

  • I love cashews! and you look like you got some color, Sarah! :-) tan

  • @123beehealthy yes! I can't believe how much color I've gotten already from running outside

  • Looking hot

  • Ooh I love those rice cakes just got some!!

  • Love you.. Ur such a great inspiration.. thank you for the healthy snacks :)

  • but you said it's not healthy to eat ice cream everyday. so please explain to me what ya mean

  • @blondlicous03 there's a TON of fat and empty calories and unhealthy sugars in ice cream and if you're eating it everyday then it really adds up. it's okay to have it once in a while though :)

  • @courtneytherunner13 Thanks Courtney!

  • she is hotter than the summer sun

  • awesome video :)! love you sarah

  • I love your videos! I find them so helpful and so much fun to watch. Keep all the great tips coming our way!! Erica

  • i think the problem with that kind of cheese is that it has too much package, so its not really good for the environment

  • sarah you look so toned and glowing in this video!

  • I love rice cakes. But I think the best thing in the summer has got to be watermelon! =]

  • @PeaceNdLovee ok true! But they are heavy as hell to carry from the grocery store - i walk over a half mile and combined with the rest of the products, my arms almost always fall off

  • lovely video.. i do have a question myself. i am allergic to almost all RAW fruits and nuts, and also allergic to raw carrots. do you have suggestions for a good snack that is healthy and holds you over to the next meal with turning to too much processed snacks? perhaps veggie snacks? (besides raw carrots of course) haha, i feel like this is very specific to just me, but i suppose some others have similar allergies :)

  • @mischiER celery, cucumber, peppers, with hummus or laughing cow wedge, sugar snap peas too!!! greek yogurt too!

  • love rice cakes :)

  • Marry me!

  • I LOVE to go jogging. But I live in texas and down here it doesnt go below 90 even at night and its most of the times 95 or 105 degrees out during the say. As much as I love jogging the heat can be awful. I hate jogging on tredmills one because its harder to change my pace went the song changes on my ipod and it just bores me to death. Can you give us some Indoor alternatives to get our heart rate up?

  • @GingerGeorgiaBrown I have a bunch of interval videos on here and on diethealth featuring the 4 minute workout or tabata intervals - check them out - super effective cardio bursts to maximize fat burn!

  • its 11.16 pm and im eating a carrot. just thought you should know.

  • @katie9879 I love being a couch carrot too haha

  • whats the carbs on the lil cheeses?

i love these. have you ever tried the seaweed wafers from TJs? those, a slice of cheese, and some tamari almonds are a great snack/meal i do...

  • @achampag yes! I love the seaweed thingys but I gotta be in the mood. Both have zero carbs. The Sharp Original is 60 cals, and the White Cheddar is 75 cals

  • love baby bell cheddar, we don't have it though! only have the regular one which is good but I get sick of it somewhat quickly..didn't know it was by laughing cow though¨!

  • Actually, you can have a dessert everyday and still be healthy. Know your faaaacts

  • @blondlicous03 ?? I never said you couldn't have dessert every day - read my blog.

  • Baby bell, triscuits, and grapes is the best snack ever! I also LOVE tomatoes with salt and cottage cheese with pepper. They pair so well together. Thank you for bringing up the cashew flour idea - I've never heard of it! My mom is gluten free and it sounds like a cool way to try something new for her.

  • @ChanShelly Yes! It's an amazing alternative! Check out oh she glows (dot) com for some fun recipes using it

  • Hey Sarah, great vid once again. Question, I am trying to lower my fat percentage (I want to lower it 10% as its pretty high) and I work out regularly (about 3/4 times a week) but not that consistently. I am supposed to go to the gym 3 times a week to do weights and cardio but sometimes I get bored with it and do something else like swimming or I take a bodypump class.

Anyways, my question, would you recommend adding whey protein to my diet?

  • @jazzyfizzle86 I assume you are a male bc 10% is too low for a women. I would 100% suggest adding whey protein! Especially after your workouts. Plan your workouts so your post workout meal is one of your daily snacks.

  • @SarahsFabChannel Whoops, let me rephrase. I'm female and my bodyfat % is around 30 now so I want to get down to 20ish %. Does your suggestion still count in that case? Thanks a lot:)

  • @jazzyfizzle86 Ahh Ok- 10% would be unhealthy!!! But yes, same as above! Get a protein podwer that has minimal carbs and uses stevia for a sweetener

  • I looove rice cakes with honey! You should really try it some time :)

  • Sarah Dussault... sexy much? When can I get my personal training with you :(

  • Do you think you can make a video about what should you eat before going to bed

  • @matias4393 For sure Love that Idea!!!!

  • @matias4393 I think I replied to you on Twitter but yes I can do that I think.

  • I AM BACK ON THIS PAGE HELLO TOO THAT

  • looooove your videos!

  • @katiebrookeee Thank you!!!

  • Thanks Sarah!! I felt a pang of guilt when you talked about ice cream..I chose to indulge probably too soon before my workout, and felt sick during the whole thing...haha. Definitely learned a lesson & will be buying some of that Laughing Cow. I tried it once and didn't like it very much, but those flavors sound good! :)) xx

  • @princesslolasluv haha it's ok - i love fro-yo especially Pink Berry with mango and pineapple! I just get the mini usually bc I always try the other flavors and they give you so much

  • <3 u

  • what brand of rice cakes are those!? yum! I would love to eat those with almond butter and cinammon! THANKS sarah.

  • @marathonsweetheart I like Mothers! These are not them, but I usually buy Mothers at Whole Foods

  • Babybel are great and have a long shelf life thanks to the wax. It's only recommended that you keep the refrigerated, I like them room temperature and they seem to taste better when they're soft and not straight from the fridge.

  • this one time, i ordered a cheese plate in the cinemas. It was wrapped in wax. I didn't see it when i put it in my mouth. Wax doesn't taste too good =/

  • i heard its not possible to have completely raw cashews

  • @muzicluva0 maybe but the package says toasted or raw, choose raw

  • omg i luv ur vids. and i think ur so pretty

  • @luvgreyson thank you :)

  • wait, isn't all-natual peanut butter higher in calories.??

  • @AmyLmonkey maybe sometimes but it's much better bc it doesn't have fake additives or sugar added. It's the good calories.

  • i cant get over you mouth

  • @vivivixen09 what do you mean?

  • sarah!! missing you, finally when i saw your face in my sub box i freaked and clicked on this video and liked it before i even watched it haha! <3

  • @CherThinksPink awww thank you! :)

  • raw almonds are a great snack too and you can make almond flour! Thanks for the tips! Great job!

  • @tastingthin I've talked about Almonds before on a haul - I love them but chose to be different today. they are pretty spot on the same for nutrition content. Almonds have less carbs but more fat. Almonds also have a few more protein grams and fiber making them slightly better.

  • I want my baby back, baby back, baby back ribs! lol

  • yuuuuuum! you should try broccoli and tomato sauce for a snack, its soo good! haha it's what keeps me from cheating

  • @designerproductions interesting combination - not sure I'm going to jump to try it but if it presents itself I will try it for you.

  • @SarahsFabChannel haha alright:) its better than it sounds! if you like broccoli...

  • looking good sarah

  • I love cashews too...but don't they have a lot of fat in them?

  • @benvolio15 less than almonds actually.

  • i LOVE babybell cheese

  • Can you do a video on how to read the nutrition labels on food? like when it says calories from fat is that good or bad? or should we avoid trans fat or saturated fat etc?

  • @smileylittleblonde That might be a confusing video but I'll write a blog post for sure - read it on sarah fit (dot) com or sign up for my newsletter to keep your eyes peeled if you dont read my site

  • Nutella on rice cakes is very good. Always takes care of my chocolate fix, and the calories/fat is fairly equivilant to peanut butter.

  • @karen32862 I agree. Nutella is delicious - not as healthy as peanut butter obvi but you should try Better 'n Butter Chocolate! It tastes like Nutella but has less calories.

  • @SarahsFabChannel I never heard of it. I will look for it. Unfortunately I live in an area where some items just arent available. I have been trying to find Gardenlite vegetable souffles here forever. I found the zucchini ones at a store 70 miles away. So, I will add better n butter to my list of items to hunt for!

  • The Laughing Cow Sharp is AMAZING!

  • MILF!

  • I like SarahsFabChannel much better than DietHealth!

  • CHEESE

  • I love these snacks! especially the cheese!

  • first?
