You are right about oversterilizing messing up the immune system. But this is NOT about that. It's about people's dirty hands touching food that will be ingested by others. Health codes require gloves, this place should be reported. And you really need to go back to English class and learn better expressive verbs.

Some things just have to be made by hand. Almost every bread company makes bread by hand, without gloves. If you wear gloves while making taffy, the plastic or latex in the gloves can get caught in the taffy, resulting the person eating the taffy, having to eat the glove material as well. (continued...)
