The attacking ship is from an offshoot slave race derived from the Asgard, the Cytherians (totally made up by me) it does resembles a death glider in this vid but the model is supposed to resemble a hawk (bird of prey) and it would be similar to the deathgliders since the Cytherians "worship" birds as a symbol of their freedom as the Go'auld "worship" birds of prey for their power - yada yada yada.
Yes and no, the basic story is set and the characters have been created. I am working with a script writing software that makes you develop the character backgrounds and back stories before developing story arcs and its a lot of work and research. I do have sketches in an art book but I have devoted most of my time creating the hardest (for me ) elements of the short film, the ships. I have the first 1/8th of the story written, I just have to pretty it up a bit and give it some personality.
