  • OMG I have this same DVD I watch it almost everyday. La Bohéme is a masterpiece, probably the best opera ever. :D Grande Puccini

  • I bought mine on Amazon, for a tenner, if you'll pardon the pun. I got it in dvd format but I think its also available on VHS.

    Or try e-bay.

  • @jenni4claire

Thanks for this tip, I will now investigate. And I'm sure that I can buy this DVD soon. And then they will join in my collection. I can not get enough of him, these unique people ... Thank you!

  • I hope you find it soon- its ideal listening for Christmas time, isn't it?

Happy New Year, by the way.

  • i was thinking, because this scene is set on Christmas eve, and the next act is in the snow, its so seasonal, but yes, I agree, Pavarotti and Christmas do go together.

It is the time of year even people who do not normally listen to opera listen to Luciano!

His is the first Christmas album I ever bought.

  • Oh yes I have to give you right. I hear just when I working on the computer's Christmas carols from him. It is so fascinating and emotionally. What song, what interpretation, do you like from him are the best?

  • For Christmas? Probably Adeste Fidelis.

For the rest of the year? Probably the'Addio, Fiorito Asil' from Madama Butterfly, right now, but I change my mind alot.

    What do you like best?

  • It's difficult. There is little that does not please me. Perhaps what I like this best:

    Tu scendi dalle stelle

    Tu scendi dalle stelle,

    o Re del cielo,

e vieni in una grotta al freddo al gelo,

e vieni in una grotta al freddo al gelo.

  • Oh Bambino mio divino,

    io ti vedo qui tremar.

    O Dio beato,

ah quanto ti costò l'avermi amato.

ah quanto ti costò l'avermi amato.

A Te che sei del mondo

    il creatore

mancano panni e fuoco, o mio Signore

mancano panni e fuoco, o mio Signore. ...

    ;))) (lol)

  • This is an Italian Christmas carol. And I love it when he sings it!
