YAY! This is when Pokemon still looked like Pokemon - the newer generations all look way too cartoony and not... natural. The first 2 generations looked like actual animals, and wouldn't have looked out of place in nature. Most third and fourth generation Pokemon lack that touch of realism, and seeing them makes you go 'WTF is THAT doing in a forest?!'.
