@nandansho I don't think so that the space cloud would also hit the Earth. BTW, What's the connection of the sun between space clouds ?

@penpen125 It's called a Coronal Mass Ejection. These are high powered photons and Radiation which actually are hitting the Earth Constantly. The Sun has a 12yr cycle where at year 12 it's at it's most active(2012) is the 12th year. This "cloud" of Energy hits the Earth but the Earth Creates a Magnetic field Called the Van Allen Belts which partially Blocks the Pulses and channels them through the Poles creating the Northern Lights..The last clip is The Eagle Nebulae were stars are Born.

Us humans better find a way to prevent solar flares hitting the Earth, because one of these days were going to get a mega one, and it's going to wipe out our power for weeks, months, or years. If we can't prevent one from hitting, then we should be preparing for it...next one will hit in 2010/2011, though more so 2011 probably

At the beggining of the video, you can see the Earth far away seeing it from the Moon. You can see half of the Earth lit(day) and the other half is darkness(night)

Good video. The Solar Flares, are what causes the: "Northern Lights" or the: "Aurora Borealis". These two titles are the same thing.
