No, that's just another one of KM's excuses. Krav Maga is a method of attacking too (punching, kicking and joint locks) it doesn't just cover weapons. There should be at least one shred of evidence somewhere, a security camera, something
@lsloewen2 if in doubt check it out! Find a class and go to it, you will be surprised that if you do it for a while you will spar properly and that means getting hurt and not giving up. look at human weapon or fight quest on here, and tell me if these guys need excuses?
As the person on the receiving end of Avi's Techniques in this video I can tell you he is the real deal. We did this demo for a Japanese Martial Arts magazine while I trained with Avi on Tokyo
