does this work for dogs that are afraid of strangers? im having a big problem with my dog. ive tried everything from puppy school, to spray bottles, to the chrome training collar & long walks. he still barks and its soo loud. his fur stands up like a mini faux-hawk. people are afraid of him coz he jumps and chases. only time he actually stops barking is when you let him sniff your hand, but i dont wanna keep doing that to everyone who passes by. another problem is he wont stay home alone..UGH
I am not convinced this would work. I have a hunting dog, who is around gunfire six months of the year. He is fine when exposed to such. However, electrical storms, fireworks, etc. have him running for cover at home. His anxiety has worsened over the years. He knows when storms are approaching, I am sure he senses the electrical currents in the air. H ebegins shaking twenty minutes before a thunderstorm approaches. Sedatives work best.
@zecnobot Considering this is Youtube. I really can't? What would be a good excuse to EVER wrap your pet dog that looked up to you, relied on you and is probably the only thing that will ever give you unconditional love, in duct tape?
My dog shivers and becomes very nervous when there's a storm. I would bring him to my bed and wrap him with my blanket to keep him warm. It apparently works and he stops whining. the thundershirt probably works by imitating a tight hug as well as a jacket to keep it warm and stop the shivering.
How much does it cost
