Kittens, babies, toddlers...yeah you got sucked. Yeah you're such a pushover. Just wait til they start throwing up all over you and telling their mommies that you made them cry. Then we'll see the real you as you start getting out the rattan thirty years from now being stuck in this dead-end job. hahahahaha!
It's a cool saying, definitely. I guess I was going more for self-deprecating humor/"if I say it first, it means nothing if you say it afterward", but I'm happy you like my videos and find me funny =)
Haha thanks! The dark brown was mostly a backlash against the 5 years I spent as a blonde. Then I realized that your natural color is usually the best suited for you. Plus, it's way easier to maintain =)
Haha yeah, from age 15 to the middle of my sophomore year in college, I was a blonde. Looking back on it, it didn't really suit my face well and it was such a *to do* to constantly be touching up roots. I decided to go down the other spectrum afterward and went dark auburn, dark brown (at one point, so dark brown it almost looked black).
Now I've calmed down and just let my hair color be. No more expensive appointment and/or bathrooms smelling like peroxide.
Oh my gosh!!! I'm not dead either, and I started up vlogging again this new year, and my hair is a litle bit different and i currently work with small children andddddd i just got a jvc evario for christmas which makes me a little bit spoiled, too, which is also okay because i too will never make any money!!!!!!!! oh, that last part is not that exciting.
It varies from state to state. To become a certified preschool teacher, you need 9 months (or 6 if you have your bachelor's) experience at a preschool or daycare center, plus a course in Child Development. Becoming lead teacher requires a butt-ton more.
I forgot to specify that that's the requirements in Massachusetts. It definitely changes from state to state. I checked the requirements for California and I vaguely remember that it was almost entirely about taking 12 credit hours worth of early childhood education classes.

We got an idiom here in Germany "sein Licht unter den Scheffel stellen", literally it means "to hide one's light under a bushel"
I don't know if it is used the same way in the US, but it means that someone is trying to lessen his efforts/achievements because of false modesty.
And that's what you're doing, I noticed it in a couple of your older videos too.
Please stop pointing out that you are not funny, if you were not I (and 500+ others) wouldn't have subscribed to you in the first place.

Hi Abby,
Ouch!, $100,000 of student debt. That sucks.
Enjoy your last semester of being a student.
I noticed your hair colour difference.
