  • Great video! I found it very entertaining.

FYI:Only Ontario uses bagged milk, the rest of Canada sells it in jugs or cartons like the rest of the modern world. I have no idea what is wrong with this province.

  • @rwfraser quebec has milk bags too

  • Why is it a such a big deal that we have milk in bags?

  • Dude you are so funny!

  • I live in america and my canadian friend told me about milk in a bag.

It seemed weird at first but he didn't tell me about the jugs, so I looked it up and it made more sense. lol

  • wow i've always wondered if bags of milk were resistant... i guess that now, i know it is!! :P

  • lol i thought bagged milk was a norm everywhere! but i dont think you can find it in BC or Alberta at all. =p

  • milk comes in bags you fucks

    hahahahaha

  • im a Canadian and iknow a few people who drink soy milk and ive never seen it in a bag so i would say no it just comes in cartons(from ontario) so the rest of canada i dont know about

  • Oh wow, that's cool - good to know, thanks!

  • @kakalvlvinin no i'm in ontario and they have it

  • @codegeassfanone really....Ive never seen it in a bag..what part of Ontario are you from I'm from London

  • @kakalvlvinin i live in Ontario, and everytime we buy milk, it is in bags, and there is soy milk in bags

  • @kakalvlvinin Actually Canadian from Ontario gotta say we have it in bags here you obviously don't go to the dairy section very often.

  • @kakalvlvinin I'm in Nova Scotia, and we've got it. You sure you don't in Ontario? In Sobies? In that big huge wall o' milk?

  • @kakalvlvinin I'm from Ontario and I have bagged milk everyday. "Special" kinds come in cartons not bags, like Soy and buttermilk, the rest is bags or carton's or jugs :)

  • @AngelsDemonsLover33 So soy milk would count as "special" meaning it doesn't come in bags?, I'm only 14 so I don't buy my milk so I don't know lol. it(soy) could come in bags but then again when I go shopping I go to a somewhat small store so maybe they wouldn't have it

  • dude, that's so interesting. i wonder, do they bag soymilk too?

  • I remember seeing soy milk in cartons, but not in bags. You'd have to ask a native to be sure, though!

  • i have never seen bagged milk ,sounds like fun tho

  • You learn something new everyday..

  • we have bags of milk (maybe because I'm in Ontario) xD soo its not weird for me. I find it funny that people have never seen that before

  • canada ruules :D

  • 0_0 They come in bags? Seriously? I have never seen a bag of milk before. I live in Washington, and I've been to Canada a couple of times since it's close, but I've never realized this before. Is it just Ontario they do this in? And do they come in different bag sizes? *pictures a gallon bag of milk in the fridge :-o*

  • Hehe, I think it's just Ontario...and as far as I'm aware, it's just the one size...but you buy multi-packs of them :D I always bought a sack of three at once.

  • what else whould it come in? glass bottles?

  • They mostly come in plastic bottles in the UK.

  • thats pretty cool... i wish my milk came in a bag

  • I live in Canada and my milk isn't bagged... is that just an ontario thing?

  • no man i have NEVER seen bags of milk!

  • We had bagged milk in elementary school cafeterias (in the US) but I didn't know that was a norm for Canada. Hmmm

  • i did not know it came in bags!

    you have expanded my knowledge!

    hehe

  • my milk comes in cartons... except now I am in Egypt an it all comes in juice-box form. I remember going to ontario and being pretty interested in the bagged milk though.

  • and surprisingly the bag didnt burst. comes in bags? what the heck

  • they used to have milk in bags in germany as well - but they have gone out of fashion. quite understandably ... but i'd love coke in bags or beer :D just for the heck of it

  • hahahaha my lactose intolerance!

    hilarious!

  • @TheWillofDC That was the only funny part of the video.

  • i live in ontario and i always thought it was weird that people used cartons for milk

  • My man, milk comes in bags in Scotland too! I have seen it with my own eyes.

  • :O for srs?!

  • i didnt know people didnt know milk came in bags.

i'm in ontario and milk comes in bags, cartons, jugs, and bottles.

  • I only knew about bagged milk because this year I went on a trip to Sevilha (Spain) and they were filling up a container with milk from a bag. but I had no idea before.

  • i didn't know that woah. o_O

  • i didnt know thatttt

  • it doesnt ALL come in bags,

cuase im in nova scotia and they sell it, but we buy it in a container

  • Yeah, I saw some cartons in Toronto too.

  • I did not know milk came in bags. Do they do flavoured milk in bags?

  • Not as far as I saw, just in the varying degrees of fat content.

  • yep, chocolate milk comes in bags too.

  • I think they trialled it briefly in the UK, but it didn't catch on. I remember having a bag of milk in the fridge and being WTF?

I especially enjoyed the whoopee cushion of lactose intolerance.

  • They did? Wow.

  • Milk... in... in bags?

No. No I did not know that, and I'm not sure I would have believed you, if you hadn't given visual proof.

Well, I've certainly learnt something today!

  • Here in South Africa we have a choice between bags, cartons and plastic containers, with bags usually being the cheapest

  • It's only an Eastern Canadian thing. Those of us east of Ontario get out milk in cartons like the rest of the world. XD

  • I've never seen a bag of milk. I've also never seen somebody get hit in the nuts with a bag of milk. Very great video sir!

  • milk in... BAGS? WEIRD.

  • Bagged milk can be found here in Wisconsin, but I've always wondered where this weirdness came from--now I know. Thanks!

  • Whoa!

    Didn't know that!

Bags of milk seem to be a lot cooler though.

  • I didn't know in canada it came in bags, but in china you can get little bags of flavoured green tea milk and put a tiny straw in it. you can also get that with yoghurt i think. good stuff.

  • Haha, I'm from Vancouver, Canada and I had no idea that milk comes in bags. Rather interesting...

    I loved the ending, bahahaha.

  • Yes, I knew about bagged milk, thanks to AndrewBravener

  • ive just come back from being in america for a month, and NO-ONE told me about these said bags of milk!

    ...

    and i was in detroit!

    amazing

  • Hahaha, only the Canadians seem to know so far.

  • I had no idea! lol

2 be honest...I was hoping the bag would burst, sorry haha

  • I was too, would've been hilarious :D

  • yeah...2 bad hahaha

  • HAHA what?! It comes in a bag?!

  • A jiggly one!

  • I knew it came in bags... but you know I am from Canada so that helps =P Although in Vancouver they are a lot harder to find. Not many places carry them anymore.

  • Interesting.

  • I knew it came in bags, but I didn't before I moved to Canada. And despite the many uses of the bagged milk, I still like cartons better. =P

  • Yeah, the bags are a bit flimsy...

  • And sometimes if you cut the corner wrong, the milk spills when you pour it. And once a bag fell out of my fridge and burst all over the floor. =(

  • ...and yet hurtling it at me five times in a row didn't burst it XD

  • I was really expecting it to. It was kind of disappointing when it didn't. =P

  • This was too much fun. Illegally fun.

  • I had no idea hahaha

  • silly scottish man making fun of the canadian genius invention of bagged milk. you are clearly just jealous of how ridiculously creative and amazing us canadians are. go make fun of ketchup chips, poutine, and caramilk bars while youre at it. -.-

btw, how was montreal. amazing, eh?no?babndnaofddgfhgub turtle.

  • Caramilk bars are OVERPRICED and A BIT 'MEH'. I bought one once because I needed change for the streetcar...and I didn't get enough change back XD

Montreal was really fun, but I didn't have enough time there.

  • truedat.

  • @Lurismos Well, I'm in Bolivia right now, where milk also comes in bags... and having experienced milk in big plastic bottles from America (which I grew up with) and the bags, I'd have to say that milkbags are the most God forsaken creation ever to walk the world. Metaphorically speaking... I don't think milk bags can walk...

  • I'd no idea they came in bags. It seems so strange. o_o

  • Hmm. Use it as a beauty eye mask, those gel things people put over their eyes to relax. Don't know if it works, but I am cure milk would be better no matter what.

  • Edna would no doubt approve of any such beauty regime I were to put in place.

  • i did need that minute for it to sink in ... xD, thats awsome (in a strange sort of way ... :L ) ummm how else to use it ... stress reliever thingy ma jigg ... you know those squishy things that you see angry people squishing .... :S oooh oooh or as weights :) .... yeah i got nothing....

  • That stress idea isn't bad - and it doubles as churning, so you end up with some (questionably) delicious cheese!

  • :L the question is ... would you eat it ?

  • If it came out as a fully formed, packaged wheel of brie like in the video, definitely! :P

  • haha brave :P

  • bags?

one of my teachers was canadian (like, she was a teacher of mine and now she's not..not she's not canadian anymore) and when we asked her about canada, you'd think she'd tell us that strange phenomenon.

  • I didn't have a clue it came in bags! :) NIce vid! :D

  • use it as a liquid to put in cereal :D

  • GENIUS.
