  • youtube is starting to SUCK with all these comertials!

  • i hate ron paul ads

  • thumb rank down because of the stupid advertisement.

  • @Hot80s Here you go talking about yourself again... :)

  • nice upload... from Classical Bums

  • Amazing. Forget numbskulled reality shows, I want a TV series where musicians and producers just sit at a board and do exactly this...talk about the recording, pull up faders, talk about the genius behind this stuff. I'd watch that endlessly.

  • I may have been 11 when this record hit, but MAN did it hit and stick.

    So so SO excellent. Beautiful.

  • eDarling is for LOSERS!

    Stupid ads...

  • I'd LOVE to get my hands on those master tapes...

  • @felsner1 KEEP your hands OFF MASTER TAPES!!! ;) They have to be stocked in an airconditioned room with constant temperature, constant moisture content, no dust, no magnetic or any kind of radiation. REAL master tapes, you take out of that kind of room ONCE. You checked the player is perfectly clean and functions like it's new. You play the Master tape ONCE, copy it to a DUB tape. Afterwards use the DUB tape as long as it lasts before even touching the master tape again. That's how it should be

  • @FBAV Alright, time for your medication.

  • @felsner1 What kind of nonsense is this?? I've been the accountant of the video- and audiotape archive from the first local tv-station in the Netherlands for about 6 years... Clearly you don't know anything about how fragile old master tapes are and how to really handle them with care... And these tapes were only about 30 years old.... Imagine how fragile tapes from about 50 years old are!! You can't just take them and play!! You'll damage them forever and everything's just lost!

  • Man, this album was so interesting! I mean grew with a lot of Rolling Stones, because of a great rhythm section and this album got a whole new view and made more open for other types of music(not particular African music).

  • wonder what a Paul Simon / John Lennon combination could have produced..

  • @gregorheinrich God only knows, two of the greatest.

  • @gregorheinrich Maybe everything, or maybe TWO killed legends with a great vision....

  • godihaterichkids

  • yesterday i've heard this song for the first time...

    now i'm addicted =D

  • @SayByeAndGetHome Yes me to, by the first seconds when the accordeon played i was overruled by the sound of it.

  • @details22

ja ik weet, t was gister op tv. en jij bent ook NL dus :D

  • @SayByeAndGetHome

Ja idd. ook NL. die accordeon is echt geweldig, werd wakker met dit nummer en zal er de rest van de dag ook wel blijven ;)

  • @SayByeAndGetHome

same for me a long time ago !!!!

  • wow people actually gave a shit about pop music at some point?

  • Lady Gaga....poke poke poke poker faced

  • fuck the commercial. toyota talking about comparing their crashes to football. stop pussifying football players. let children run into eachother! 'oh my goodness, they may hurt someone!' That kind of thinking gets people hurt. Fuck you.

  • Paul Simon is a genius.

  • seems so ridiculous the idea of bringing south african music to the United States when your career is at an all time low. but yet somehow he made it work and made one of the greatest albums of all time.

  • @omanasee ok. all time low? au contraire. My favourite album remains "Hearts and Bones," which was a precursor to "Graceland." Nothing like a break up to make a great album. Listen to the title track. Listen to all of those songs and tell me he wasn't at the top of his game. If he sold just one copy it was still a work of art. Graceland was a dangerous, heroic step to introduce the music of South Africa when the world was hell-bent on bycotting it. He saw the bigger picture.

  • @lastonetake i'm not saying artistically his career was at an all time low, but commercially it was. hearts and bones is my second favorite behind graceland and it's his most underrated album, but it was a flop. and with the exception of late in the evening, one trick pony didn't do so hot either so it had been a while since he had had a lot of commercial success.

  • Perfect music happens when the artists playing it come together in the name of love.

  • He seems so baffled to find those bells in there..

  • Simon is good songwriter but no showman.

  • @SergeiSMel that is what makes him so special

  • The Boy in the Bubble has to be one of the coolest tunes I've ever heard.

  • thanks to ladysmith balck mombazo, without them paul simon had no album

  • Elton, Simon, Waters, Mc. Cartney, Lennon, to me are the best

  • This man is a fucking genius, and probably the most underrated singer/songwriter of his generation?

  • The Master

  • I´d like to see more of this stuff =) has somebody the whole movie?

  • without a mess in 2010...what is this 1876? these are deaths to drummer's jobs

  • what song was in here?

  • @iceman590444 the name of the song is boy in the bubble

  • Komax - oh yes, those albums which have been incredibly influential.

  • I wonna see the whole movie

  • even the singer to SLAYER loves graceland!

  • Paul looks wasted stoned in this video!

  • didnt stevie wonder get pissed at paul for stealing his idea??

  • for me paul is the greatest songwriter in history
