dude dont tell people you cant miss with a shot gun! If your shooting with a Full choke out of that 28in barrel even at 15 yards the pattern is just a few inches across, and thats with bird shot. you still have to aim a shot gun, just like any other gun. its not a video game with auto aim!
What shells are you using? I have the same one and it has some problems with cheap shells like Federal 7 1\2 bird shot and Remington 8 shot. Try some better ammo and see if that helps

No fiddling with a tiny safety button under stress and adrenaline and fear. Just grab the gun and rack. Police have been carrying cruiser ready for decades.If an unauthorized person finds the gun they can pull the trigger and nothing will happen. This is great if you have small kids in the house since most little kids cant rack a shotgun.
for anyone interested the 500 mossberg is okay. but, it's not a quality product. if you clean one you'll understand. p.s. the 835 is chambered in the 12ga. 3 1/2" shells. but a really good gun like the ruger red lable is around $1500 if you shop around and is worth the price.

dude you can miss with a shotgun its called bird hunting try it out, also i would get a choke wrench because ur gonna fuck up the end of ur choke if you dont tighten it down, pluse instead of a getting an extenchion, take out ur plug it gives you two more shells, and if you have taken hunters ed. you would understand that a safty "is a mechanical devise that can fail". other then that nice job, i wasnt trying to be a dick im just messing with you.

@VHOBSESSED78 Actually keeping the chamber empty and safety off is called "cruiser ready". Its very safe and fast to action when you grab it. No fiddling with a tiny safety button under stress and adrenaline and fear. Just grab the gun and rack. Police have been carrying cruiser ready for decades.If an unauthorized person finds the gun they can pull the trigger and nothing will happen. This is great if you have small kids in the house since most little kids cant rack a shotgun.

for anyone interested the 500 mossberg is okay. but, it's not a quality product. if you clean one you'll understand. p.s. the 835 is chambered in the 12ga. 3 1/2" shells. but a really good gun like the ruger red lable is around $1500 if you shop around and is worth the price.
