I feel sorry for all the people that are so wrong about Courtney. Curt loved her and he would be sickened by the way people have disparaged her character and accused her of being complicit in his death. They loved each other very much. It's just heartbreaking when I see people attacking her. She is a widow, a mother and the woman Curt loved.

It's kind of haunting when they talk about "the new nirvana album" Sometimes its easy to forget, through "legend" that this was a walking, talking, breathing man that graced this earth one time in our history. Most people don't realize that Kurt may have had asperger's, a mild autism. He wasn't bipolar. People with aspergers tend to be in their own world and have a social stiffness, like Kurt. Albert Einstein is thought to have had aspergers.

I've listened to Nirvana for about a year now, and I've been so obsessed with the music and all that Kurt wrote. He was such a great guy and that shows in this interview. Anybody (including me) can relate to him like he's a normal person. His creativity leaves me in awe.

Most people don't realize that Kurt may have had asperger's, a mild autism. He wasn't bipolar. People with aspergers tend to be in their own world and have a social stiffness, like Kurt. Albert Einstein is thought to have had aspergers.

@princeofthemods69: Because I've known bipolars. You can hear the emotional swings in their voice (if you listen to Kurt's voice recorded it is very reasonable and down to earth). They lie and are very irresponsible (Kurt was responsible and honest to a fault). They're prone to expensive impulse buying, expecting other people to pick up the tab. Many con artists are bipolar. Doesn't sound like Kurt to me. It does, however, sound like Courtney Love.

I'm completely sure that you cannot "hear" emotional swings in the tone of voice! I can be manic for weeks then manic for weeks, sometimes it's mixed but rarely..it's not like you change on the spot all the time! And I've worked since I was 16, so i'm not a 'con artist' either!. I've given you several definite tendencies of manic depressive behavior that Kurt did NOT exhibit. I love how everybody has this image of Kurt as a crazy careless idiot, a rebel without a cause, and such, this interview actually proves that beneath that mask, hid an actual thinker and a very smart person who was aware of everything and knew how important each step in his life was, in the end I think he was always mocking us lower life forms for judging him from head to toes all the time, he was actually a genius and a very respectful being.
