Every candidate has people voting multiple times. It is a fund raising event that allows them to get additional money to campaign with. I agree they should not put so much media focus on straw polls. When I got my ticket I asked why the lady in front of me was given 15 -20 extra cards the the blonde woman handing out cards said if you buy 15 tickets you get 15 votes .
