Tremco are the best trucking mob that the wife and I ever drove for colin the boss is a real gent, and the K Ws were tops, keep on trucking colin lol wendy&me
@pete5668 Would never be allowed that close to any city centre in Australia. Maybe on an arterial highway that skirts a CBD, but not anything closer than that. The fine for getting caught doing so is huge
hello i am looking to migrate to Australia i live in the uk and i am 21 i also have family in Australia i have my hgv class 1 and 2 for the uk and was wondering if i could drive in Australia with my heavy good license with a uk license
it would possibly give you an advantage, after all as a car driver your licence for cars covers you on fly-drive holidays.
though i think you would need to obtain an Australian licence, which given you are already licenced for single trailers, (doubles and triples are a different catagory and test, like going from a Uk class II to a class I you need to take a test), the licence would easy to gain
I have never been to Australia, just curious as to why this option was taken for land transport as opposed to railways, or is this used in addition to railways?
@warrensavage Yeah but they don't take corners in road trains smart guy. Anyone with any driving experience could drive one of your road trains. Automatic transmissions. Straight highways. As easy as drving a golf cart. This video here takes a real driver.
Sounds like u never been to Australia and seen the length of our road trains and how the go around corners and how good the drivers are when they reverse
Mind you,to the north of Australia, you have to watch our for camels and cattle at night, as well as stray kangaroos. If you hit a cow, it's like hitting a brick wall with beef on it. This is despite the momentum of what's often 100 tonnes of momentum
nice man, but its a shame its a Tremco Prime Mover, They use our trailers at GKR Transport and they always piss fart around wiv them and fuk them up so yer, at least this time is a jolly's/wa freightlines b triple, not ours
funny u mention that, i got photos of a Tremco K104 with it was backing onto a B-triple, the 1st trailer was on its side, it was a funny site, forward me a message with a email and ill send ya some pics once i get to know you abit more
I would really like to try driving that in Bermuda..........RIGHT!!!! Our roads are WAY to narrow and curvy. We mostly haul 20's and some 40's as well as 53's

Possibly the most disturbing thing about that truck is that it would cost just over $15,000 AU per year in registration...

Twiggy, tell us all exactly how they 'always piss fart around' with your trailers and 'fuck them up'.
Also kenworthaus, I'm trying to work out how one can back onto a 1st trailer when it is on it's side? That must take some talent...

Hence the reason why hotshot freight operators are getting a serious toehold there. Hotshot as in "overnight service" not cowboy operators
