I watch the inventory levels closely and just had never noticed SMLs removed completely from the list of available items, so found it fairly significant.

@Begbucks - for what it's worth, those 1oz PAMP Suisse "Fortuna" bars almost always carry an extraordinarily high premium over spot. PAMP discontinued them so they've become something of a collectors item.
@Begbucks - PAMP stopped making that silver bar a while ago and they've maintained a premium over just about every other 1oz bar on the market. They were going for about $50 each even when the spot price was below $20 last year. I believe it's kind of an anomaly as I don't know of any other silver bar that commands a >100% premium. They are sealed within an official PAMP Suisse assay card, though. That's definitely one good thing about them but it's hardly worth the extra money in my opinion.
@AgdrAgon999 Thanks for clarifying that. I was a bit intrigued with the shabby 80's/early 90's style card stock but as a dummy, I figured that this was attributed due to vaulting & storage.

Ebay can make it tricky to be competitive due to their fees, so I mainly deal locally and off-line or through my website, buchanbullbullion -- all of which use Paypal as a payment vehicle for mutual protection.
