what i believe is that tom is the best out of all guitarist cause to make his sounds is almost impossible! and slash u can make his sounds TOM IS THE BEST!
im a fan of tom, and his sound. tom to me is more of an innovator,but, if you play guitar, youd know that his solos are usually pretty easy. he uses A LOT of effects...and as far as slash goes...eh...i think hes overrated....but thats just my opinion
1)Slash has had a major impact on Music in general. Slash has many great songs in GNR, Snake Pit, and in Velvet Revolver and he's a great guitarist in general.
2)Tom Morello has had a huge underground following (especially since Guitar Hero) and he is also a great guitar player. He's found some cool ways to make his guitar sound different than anyone else's
Slash is more of a bluesy-rock guitarist while Tom mixes up rap with rock and even some folk.
Slash Is a good Guitarist, So is Tom. Both have differsnt styles, Its hard to choose whos better, Becuase They're both completly differant. Of cource, Slash made some of the best solos ever, And tom Makes a Guitar sound nothing like a Guitar. Hard choise.
