Thank god he overcame his Heroin addiction and didn't die. I know he was in a bad place for a while. Gibby Hayes from Butthole Surfers and Johnny Depp made a short movie about him showing his home in complete disarray while he was deep in his addiction, I forgot the name of it but you guys should look for it. I've been struggling with the same thing (or similar, I've never shot up) and I know how hard it can be, and I'm just soo proud of him and he's an inspiration. His music is better nowadays.
My friend saw her at the same time and ran round the room saying we had to save her it was amazing because that was exactly what I felt... I think he may be on about the shephardess seeing through her eyes its what this song means to me I love it and I love that when evr J writes a song I feel like I can connect with it beautiful stuff :) keep it up John your a great inspiration to many.. Also I don't know if millions know about her or understand maybe its just a few and I am lucky to be apart
John is an awesome singer and can get his vision and feelings out so perfectly through his music. All his lyrics are sooooo real to me and millions of people all around the world. I know totally what he is on about at the beginning of this song and i'm so happy that he could dedicate a song to her I would love to be able to write a beautiful song and dedicate it to her... I felt her fingertips run through my cheek like liquid under my skin and I saw her another time reach out for me but disapear
@emanyankees last show they did in 2007 was leeds which was end of august, did not a single show with john in since then.
but whatever, its not important when you saw them, at least you saw them! i know so many fans who haven't seen them live with john and i feel sorry for them..
John has outgrown the role of a lead guitarist and backing vocalist. In his career with the RHCP he produced some truly amazing music, songs that I'm sure will still be played for a long time. But watching this you can see that he is a great solo artist and it was the right decision for him the leave
Honestly, I so hope Josh is better for the Chili's than John was. As much as I love both RHCP and John's solo work, they can't co-exist if John stays. But if Josh rises to the occation, both can be apart of this world. And maybe John could come back for a few live shows here and there. But We don't know, no one does. Only time will tell us what will happen, and here's hoping for the best.
