The part of the movie where Christopher is walking outside and all the flags are dropping down, Let's Kill Hitler was all I could think about. :P I literally said "Find Rory and go put Hitler in the cupboard!" Then I had Secret Diary of a Call Girl references when Matt was with Iddo in scenes. :)

I actually tried to watch the movie because of well it is Matt Smith. However the sex scenes were really graphic so I had to turn it off. Which in turn I honestly didn't think they would be to graphic but that is british censors for you.

@gothamcity29 It's interesting that you got that view. I thought they weren't any more graphic than what it's acceptable for 'straight' sex scenes to be (something TV doesn't always make sure is equal, so it was nice to see that it was).

Oh come on people! What's wrong with you!? Matt is just a great actor he can play even a gay! But it doesn't mean he is gay and anyway he's got a girlfried. Actually this film isn't for children. It has a deeper meaning, what some people don't understand. You not suppose to be watch it just because Matt is the doctor...If you interested in literature and you understand the deep meaning things, then you could watch it.

i didn't think of him different after watching a bit of the film. i know it's all just acting and it's a really good movie. i liked all the parts i did watch. i got maybe half way through. awesome acting matt and i never changed what i thought of you which is AMAZINGGG

Naw, him playing a gay guy is nothing. I don't really consider that awkward at all anyway. Now after seeing "Womb," I can officially say nothing will make me look at Matt Smith differently more than him "canoodling" his onscreen mother. (That said, "Womb" was a great movie with fantastic acting from Matt Smith and Eva Green. It just had an unsettling plot.)

Saw "Christopher and his Kind". Wonderful film! Smith is excellent (again). Excellent cast, strong performances, super story (fascinating true story), and top production values. Why does BBC make such great works, and Hollywood crap? This is an excellent work - don't miss it! Smith shows his acting skills here too -- and I already think he's one of the best Dr Who's too! Good choice.
