  • WOW! My favorite aircraft! Amazing.

What's the glide ratio at 200 km/h? Or the sink speed at 200 km/h?

  • This kind of landscape is a reason because I love soaring. Congratulations!!!

    Nogueira, Brazil

  • Thanks for sharing 9 minutes of pure heaven. What a beautiful and amazing glider!

  • how are the rules for flying above cloud layers in gliders? Is it allowed or do you need an IR , or isn't it allowed at all? grtz nice vid

  • @SebastienDS You can fly over clouds, but should maintain VFR conditions, the problems usually arise for gliders when flying under clouds, as most will climb to cloud base.

  • Dear Soquan,

Why the hell you have only one video with gliding contents and 88 videos with those powered planes if you own something as nice as a EB29. You have to work on this ratio next saison please,

    PK

  • @LSVFlachkurbler Ha Ha , well there is more than one of gliders, you just need to look closer, but yeah, will post some more :)

  • bello!!

  • holy crap.. so what is the glide ratio? you said the ration was over 67 but ..? thats amazing lol

  • 67 Glide ratio :o!

  • is there some kind of prop on the fuselage to power those gauges?

  • @dalve00 Batteries are charged over night for electric power, but the glider has solar panels to charge the batteries while in flight. However, these are motor gliders, meaning an engine folds back into the fuselage after takeoff and shut down. This enables these gliders to takeoff without a tow and therefore better for expeditions.

  • @soquan Very interesting, thank you!

  • Omg what a wingspan! Lol, huge! What an adventure, fantastic video, cheers :)

  • You are a true aviator. I never know what kind of plane you'll be in next. Thanks for the post.

  • Nice flight I like it! Thanks for sharing

  • what a lovely video we have today and i can see a lot of works here just to satisfy your audience and followers.

Keep going captain and hope to fly with you soon.

PS: i didn't hear any communication by the radio why is that ?

    Best regards from HZ1EA / Emad-Jeddah

  • EB29 is a top class glider... shiny, new with allegedly very spacious cockpit

Once again thanks for showing us the true beauty of flying

  • OMG 7 hours for 600 km !!!

If I were on donkey, I'd reach faster than you LOOOOL .

Thanks for the nice upload .

    Good Luck .

  • @M777d66 Hey hey! What's with the insults lol, joking aside, the speed at which you finish a task depends on the conditions that day. I think for 600 km, you could probably do it in 5 hours, with 20% or less circling. But at that particular day, circling was 29%.

  • @soquan Good luck buddy .

I don't know much in pilots study and missions but I really interest in planes and pilot flights .

waiting for your next up .

  • BTW excelent view

  • if the glide stall what can you do o_O nothing I think

  • @TheBadameco You break the stall...

  • @SgtRevan how?

  • @TheBadameco Push forward on the stick aka increase airspeed. Same as an airplane. Stalls are not dangerous unless you are near the ground and they come unexpectedly. But even then good training will prevent the situation from deteriorating.

  • HOW DO U KEEP UR PANTS DRY AFTER A 7 HOUR CR-LESS JOURNEY?

  • @seaboo143 Lol well there are solutions, same as what fighter pilots use for long trips, would like to add that some of these flights last well over 11 hours covering distances over 3000 km.
