Not sure if anyone will ever see this, but the EVM 15L proline is about the best speaker for a bass guitar that was ever on the market. I don't think they are still in production. The best sound and performance for bass guitar comes from a treated paper type of cone, lo-tech if you will, never a high tech car subwoofer type of speaker, which would sound horrible for a bass guitar, which produces low and high frequencies altogether.
Technically this model is NOT a subwoofer. It could be considered a woofer / midrange driver. Its frequency range is 60 to 6000 Hz, so it is not meant for subwoofer frequencies. They work as a nice woofer & for bass guitar / upper bass frequencies. In a car playing a higher bass note they probably get fairly loud. I would prefer them for upper bass crossed at around 80hz, vocal / mid, with some high freq horns or soft dome tweeters & Ill bet they sound pretty good. 621ELECTRONICS
I put these in my cars! Check my video of my Oldsmobile 88. Also my Chevrolet Caprice with 4, 10" electrovoice
