" I am not happy about the rebirth of the Jesuits. Swarms of them will present themselves with more disguises ever taken by even a chief of the Bohemians - as printers, writers, school teachers, etc. If ever an association of people deserved eternal damnation, on this earth and in hell, it is this Society of Loyola (1816).
"Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an INVISIBLE GOVERNMENT owing NO allegiance and acknowledging NO responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul this unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of today." PRESIDENT THEODORE ROOSEVELT, 1906
@oporuy 'It is my opinion that if the liberties of this country(USA) are destroyed, it will be by the subtlety of the Roman catholic Jesuit priests, for they are the most crafty, dangerous enemies to civil and religous liberty. They have instigated most of the wars of Europe.' Marquis de LaFayette
This would have been a great concert video if it had been just the concert without those ridiculous scenes. What a line-up: Glover, Gillan, Coverdale, Hughes, Lord from Purple with Ray Fenwick (Gillan), Mo Foster and Les Binks (later with Judas Priest), Mike Moran, Tony Ashton, John Gustafson and Mark Nauseef, Twiggy, Eddie Jobson and even actor Vincent Price as narrator.
great singer who helped make what is a great song. The song was written by Eddie Hardin who also co-wrote "Love Is All" with Roger Glover regardless of where the credit and money go.
well he was with Lucifer's friend and Uriah Heep, with lucifer's friend lsiten the first album, is awesome. The first song Ride in the sky is an early heavy metal song, the rest of the album is very progressive rock.
With Uriah Heep started to follow the transition of the styl beetween 70's and 80's. Symphaty, Free me, Wise man, were his hits.
It's not his big hit actually. This from a 1974 album Butterfly Ball written by ex-Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover. The whole album has good songs all over it and it featured several great singers of that time, e.g. Coverdale, Dio... The album is kind of a forgotten gem.
John Lawton got his breakthrough with Lucifer's Friends. Their most famous song is "Ride in ths Sky". You can find the video here on Youtube. In 1976 he joined Uriah Heep and participated on three albums: Firefly, Fallen Angel and Innocent Victim. Tough I prefer Heep prior to that, some favorites with Lawton are: Come Back to me, Wise Man, Free Me, Love or Nothing and Coices. (Yes, I'm a fan of Uriah Heep).

Over 3 years old, and still only 6,4 thousand viewers.
Proves two things:
- People tend to listen to garbage
- Roger Glover is criminally underrated
