@MrALEXisBORING Raven wasn't fired from WWE, he quit himself. And even if WWE wanted him back he would not return because he don't want to. Raven was seriously underrated in WWE, because WWE have a history of not knowing what to do with really talented guys. I mean for gods sake he had un-important 3 minute matches at the one hour show HEAT when he was in WWE. He left himself because he was tired of being underused and ended up doing better things ; becoming TNA world champion.

I really do miss WCW.

If someone that knows the business would buy it off of VKM and put it back on the air as was before the NWO came along and disallow HH and associates to be a part of it and let the company just keep growing then it would be very enjoyable.

WWE is just too predictable and whenever HH gets involved in a company we know how that's going to turn out.

i remember that . raven won the US title from ddp on a ppv, then next night he lost it to goldberg. raven should have held on to that title a bit longer. i think wcw took him from ecw on purpose because of the potential raven had. his creativity in ecw was awesome, best storylines ever, then wcw had that lame segment where they went to ravens moms house and he was depressed.

@El2lk The problem was that Benoit, who had credibility but was stuck wrestling the other workrate midcarders forever, finally got into a storyline with DDP over the belt. Then Raven got involved, it turned into a 3-way, with Benoit essentially being shuffled right out of the storyline aspect of it. At that point, WCW still had a wonderful midcard but they started getting stupid with the booking, and the midcarders just endlessly traded feuds with each other with no upward movement.

Raven really shouldve been bigger in WCW and WWE during his time there atleast TNA (at tha time when he debuted there) did something for him although it wasnt for long..and if ANYBODY was a rip off it was Edge when he came to tha WWF he came from the crowd,attacked people and was full of "mysterious and rage" so yes this is just my opinion because I seen comments before me suggesting Raven is a Mankind rip off which I dont see anything remotely similar eXcept their hardcore pasts.

My point was there both different characters but WCW copied the way WWE was pushing Mankind. WWE would point out that mankind was missing an ear, WCW would say Ravens is missing part of his foot due to hardcore wrestling. Also the announcers would sometimes say Raven enjoyed the pain which WWE said about Mankind first. Pretty obvious.

If a wrestler has that sort of problem of course they will point that out. Same with the "burned" Kane or Sabus scars. It is natural for announcers to point stuff like this out if they want to get the guy over. And the whole "enjoying pain" thing is also nothing new. They did say stuff like that long before Mankind.

Raven was an thinking complex heel. WCW coulda really made him the next big thing but they blew it. Mick Foley was a guy with so much passion for wrestling but really had no business being champion in WWE. He was really a modern day Dusty Rhodes in terms of being an everyman that people could relate too.
