  • Trey Parker and Matt Stone said that people downloading illegally helped them because more people got to see how good it was. And if you're stuff is shitty in the first place, people aren't going to buy it anyways.

  • ALL HAIL THE PIRATE BAY GODS!!

  • arse lickers ...

  • @nemocat117 I call BS on everything you say. If you ever happen to create something of value that the masses like (I doubt you could) you would be singing a different tune. You're a parasite...feeding off others.

  • Haha slut

  • i dont get it it is still a working website

  • @Takei299 yea man - up and running as the worlds most used torrent indexing website!

  • Its tough to be an American and agree with all the people who hate you. We are not all 400 pound burger babies that need carcinogens to survive. I have no sympathy for folks who got teams of lawyers sucking their fat teats for more money. Look at the $ Notch made on Minecraft and also look at his views on Piracy and information sharing. A very wise and savvy man if I may say so. I dunno they way things are handled these days makes me feel like we have all become very weak and childish worldwide?

  • @xXamraXx (Third line up from the bottom... "The" not "they" oops!)

  • @Cpillan425 Wow calm down, American citizens have no control over what our dumbass government does ok? Im american and all for piracy. Oh and btw, torrents arent illegal here dipshit.

  • @nemocat117

You do realize pirating is manifestly immoral. It's stealing. Do you realize that?

  • @Andrewh313 @Andrewh313 I could sit on my laptop and argue semantics all night if I wanted to but at the end of the day I will continue to pirate and you will continue to call piracy stealing when n in fact it sn not stealing. Stealing is taking something form someone by force. I am downloading from a person who willingingly SHARES the file which is a COPY so I am not stealing anything. :) I will not reply to any more replys I have a life to live. yo ho ho and a bottle of rum ☮

  • @nemocat117

So, let's pretend you decided to do something productive with your life and wrote a book. Would you expect people who want to read that book to buy it from you?

Now let's say I buy 1 copy of your book, scan all the pages, and upload it as a PDF onto pirate bay. Then thousands of people downloaded it for free instead of buying it from you.

How would that make you feel?

  • @Andrewh313 I would want my book to be read by the world ~ I do not believe in hording knowledge :) and who are you to say my life is not productive - you are going to judge me based on a youtube comment?! thats is sad imo ~ now please enjoy the new year and stop trying to pick fights with people you know nothing about :)

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”

    ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

  • @Andrewh313

    go suck an onion

  • I heard this was only down for three days, it's funny how antipiracy douchebags tell us piracy's a crime and yet can't permanently shut down pirate kingdoms like Pirate Bay or Mediafire…SUCK MY COCK

    - Steven, internet pirate since 2007

  • fuck you American cocksuckers, stick your copyright laws up your ass, In Sweden torrents are legal, so sucks for you. What's more Illegal, killing and raping thousands of Iraqi children, or sharing torrents...hey maybe we should file a lawsuit against you in your country for RAPING AND PILAGING IRAQ.

  • Comment removed

  • @Cpillin425 Dude, Calm the Fuck Down. 1. Not all Americans are for copyright laws; only the ones that it affects directly (government, collectors, actors, companies, and artists). 2. There are only a handful of soldiers that rape women/children and pillage in Iraq (the rest are actual Iraqi perverts/terrorists). 3. The dead children are collateral damage (a by-product of any armed conflict). And 4. You are an asshole with no life, Period.

    @ThePirateBay YARRRRR!!!

  • @Cpillin425 Dude, Calm the Fuck Down. 1. Not all Americans are for copyright laws; only the ones that it affects directly (government, collectors, actors, companies, and artists). 2. • @SilverNinjatv Collateral damage my ass! What have Americans even accomplished in Iraq? Or Afghanistan? Nothing! Everything is even more fucked up now than it was before! More than a million Iraqi civilians has been killed and you're just going to call that "collateral damage"?

  • @krepsv Sure we haven't accomplished much, but it still is collateral damage. I mean look at the statistics of WWI & II between just the US and Germany; over 3.4 million on both sides. And the terror attacks on the us have a shocking number of civilian deaths, but guess what they strictly attacked our citizens. But I'm also gonna say that most casualties on Iraq and Afghanistan could be avoided if our government didn't use air strikes every other time, but citizens have no control over that.

  • @Cpillin425 U+1F44D

  • Happy 8th BDay.

  • Happy 8th Birthday pirate bay!

LONG LIVE THE BEST TORRENT PROVIDER

  • ooo polskie

  • Time to go download some stupid shit i don't give a fuck about...

  • Dears ISP's

I use encryption, you cant catch me.

    Love, @UncleSnub

  • PIRATE BAY 4 EVER

  • Sharing is caring. Buying something and then share it to someone else who is not able to access it is a good thing! Don't be selfish.

  • THE PIRATE BAY RULES!

  • pirating is easier than breathing. so i guess it's good then. There has actually been research that has shown that pirating can actually help STIMULATE the economy! yes folks that's right IT HELPS the economy because instead of wasting money on bullshit like movies or music, you are going to spend that on something useful like groceries or clothes. So much for the media propaganda that makes pirating seem like it's bad.

  • Ahh good old pirate bay, the biggest middle finger to copyright ever.

  • Anyone else notice thepiratebay goes down Every few days or months?

  • @holyjewel yeah it goes down every few months for them to make maintanece plus it is a good way for them to stop being watched so much by the damn feds

  • I don't get it? What's the point in this video. Please tell me.

  • @xXDrAxeXx Its the police camera video of when they took the makers of ThePirateBay, movie;game;ect, downloader to court/jail

  • gameinsiddeteam.webs.com is a site sponsored by TPB , where the torrents are checked before uploading. It started just a week ago . Please , thumbs up .

( if u do this , it will mean very much to me. ) Thanks.

  • It's breathing again! Long Live The Pirate Bay!!

  • Long live pirate's bay. Most awesome site ever!

  • please note this is from 2006.

have you TPB'd anything since then? No need to answer that,

  • Authorities and religion are made to control and enslave the population, and this is what they actually do. They make you think that you are free, bun in fact you are not free at all. Sharing things make part of the human rights,so when i have an apple and want to share it with another person i have the rigt to do it because te apple is mine, this theory goes the same with electronic materials. Internet has become a Big Broter, they see everything you do in virtual space!

  • Damn it ,The Pirate Bay can't go down! :( .....

Man FUCK THEM FOR BUSTING TPB This is a fucking tragedy for all us faithful members ....

  • the only thing i could understand in the beginning of the video is slut!

This copy should not be used for evidence purposes.

for more information, see the film's final

    P.S

I seriously dont get the video? What are they looking at?

  • @WatWudYerManSay

Well if you look in the description it says ISP. Which stands for Internet Service Provider. And since there are no magic internet even Piratebay needs an ISP for hosting their tracker (maybe website) etc. Where as ISP's use servers to track, store information and provide the service to their clients.

Where as this were the easiest way (also most minimum loss in money) for the Police to take down the The Pirate Bay.

Why is it so illegal to make a copy of something that exists? If i made a clone of a cow, i am not stealing it. The cow that the owner bought is still there. Should i still pay the owner? Should i pay for 'illegal' files that noone owns?

So ke$ha makes a new song. Most people buy it. That is enough money to easily pay the production costs with some left over money called greed. The music and movie industries are not losing money from so called illegal files.

  • LONG LIVE THE PIRATE BAY

  • @TheTupacolypse Yup, im downloading Grand Theft Auto IV on it right now XD

  • boringest video ever, wth is going on?

  • Don't forget, the MP3 was demonized when it first appeared, as it made transferring music easier. The industry took a few years trying to ban MP3's and failed. they finally decided to jump on board the MP3 train. History is interesting.

  • The Pirate Bay was only down for 3 days after this so called raid and now its even more decentralized than ever so the next time a raid happens they will be down for hours so the police and all the assholes who try to stop this are fighting a losing battle and in my opinion they already lost LONG LIVE TORRENTS LONG LIVE THE PIRATE BAY!!!

  • I know it's Swedish, but I laughed at the "Slut" part.

  • collateral damage controll

U AND I , HIM AND HER . WE ARE NOTHING BUT A NUMBER IN THE SYSTEM .

WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE OF ANY SITUATION LIKE THIS FOR EXAMPLE , NEED YOU TO BE UPSET, TO CONTROL THE WAY A HUMAN RESPONDS TO SUCH THINGS .

TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA ... I HAVE CHOCOLATE AND YOU WANT SOME , IM NOT GIVING YOU ANY !!! IF I HAVE CHOCOLATE AND I TELL YOU IT TASTS LIKE CRAP WILL YOU EAT IT ..... THERE YOU HAVE IT . THEY HAVE CHOCOLATE AND U WANT IT !!!!

  • why do they cover the cameras?

  • @DXRunescape I think if the "fans" of pirate bay could get really mad at them and find them and probably beat him/them up (the police guy(s)

Otherwise idk, but hey its the police eh ^^

  • ARRR! LONG LIVE THE PIRATE BAY!

  • long live TPB!

  • lol slut

  • If I do remember correctly...

A small town metal band once said:

"I'd rather have 100 people buy our CD and 100,000 people listen to our band than have 100 people buy our CD and have 100 people listen to our band."

Long Live the Pirate Bay, promoting small bands since 2003

  • @Kingslayer513 That's right heard it to =)

  • the pirate bay has shared more money worth in media than the us has printed nuf said

  • Fucking cops...The pirate bay is going to become like Mininova now... -_-

  • can this really be called a raid? more like a tour.. and the site might be down temporarily.. atm its down and the site URL isn't working but I'll bet it'll be back in a day or so, always is.

  • its so boring watching people aimlessly walking around making it look like there doing something. What are they going to find? The pirate bay website itself has no illegal content, it just helps people find illegal stuff but so does google. Go on cops, close down google!

  • @terminator7256 pirate bay delibertaly posts movies, music and more for theifs to take for their use...reproduce and sell! you can find this in almost every country speaking of pirated movies and music. gogle does not. the US entertainment Im sure loses billions a year to this.

  • lol i love how the police faked this, obviously pirate bay is still going strong and please, put away the fake servers and cameras.

  • that was an intense raid

  • then heres the answer for the entertainment industry. if they dont want it "pirated" dont make it. its going to happen no matter what they do to try and stop it

  • on pirate bay right now haha

  • Lol these guys dont know what the fuck they are doing let alone what they are looking at! Stupid authority sheep.

  • funny part it shows a sign that says no photos, and these motherf*ck taking pitctures.

  • lol...worst case scenario is that everyone will have to go back to stealing dvds and such from stores again, or renting dvd's and copying them. There will always be a way around paying inflated prices for such material. Screw morals and ethics. Hail the anarchists of the world.

  • C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER

Stop replying! For arguments just PM each other ¬_¬

  • i dont think theres nothin wrong with pirate bay . how can it be wrong and why do the police shut places down or raid peoples houses . if they raid ma house i will be waiting

  • and for all you so called artisete....STFU, you cannot stop the internet, if your shit was good enough you would make money besides the reality...YOU SUCK, you have an inflated opinon of your bullshit autotune whiney shit anyways.

Grow a pair, you think fucking jimi hendrix would be complaining about internet piratez? morrison, Lennon, Mozart...

those are musicians, your all just fucking whiney materialist children playing with tinkertoys and protools masquerading as talented.

  • looks like they stared down the equipment to death . im sure they wer pretty confused and what they wer looking at . hey gentle men did u know this is what gets you your free porn lmao

  • at 2:42 the agent picks his nose....lol.....

  • If they want they can stash all there stuff in my room.

  • Yeha, welll you know what? The law is never going to jack around with me. GO PIRATE BAY!

  • Are they getting the founder or just some guy using the site? I thought police had REAL criminals to catch

  • You may be able to control people, and have them do what you say in real life just because of your status. But you'll never control the internet, nor never will control the freedom and fun it brings. And I for one, am glad.

  • that's the FBI

  • It was a beautiful server park, all the guys are smiling doing the raid. Probalbly envious like hell.

  • Oh yeah that showed thepiratebay, i mean look go to the website! You can clearly see what affect the government has had. Now they have a section called legal threats. ROFLOL Long live TPB.

  • hahaha at the start it says :"se filmens SLUT"

  • @Xenu888 ..I don't get it.. In swedish "Slut" is End, The end, Finish or Finished.

  • I would love to hear to legal argument for covering up security cameras during a police raid and then confiscating any footage of the raid that they can get their hands on. Hiding something? really?

  • revolutiontt nuff said.

  • Demoinoid nuff said =D

  • i dont get it. when did they get raided? was the guy in the camo jacket the cop?

  • I Like they're style @ 2:18

Just a single computer; I would lol if that's all was in the entire building.. :D

  • Technically it isn't stealing as all files remain intact. ;D

  • Where was the busting?

  • The pirate bay Is shit, Private Trackers FTW

  • All these things do is scare the less educated people into buying a few million worth of records. They can't stop the downloading black market. They just thought throwing people in jail for unjust reasons is alright if it lets their CEOs buy that new private jet with the bigger cup holders. Heaven forbid they have to purchase non-matching parts to hold their thousand dollar wine bottles.

  • @Vazeroth16

Having to Pay for old media and game copies on the net is just a form of systematic extortion...

  • @Vazeroth16 You mean the same website that sold itself for 2 million dollars to a major corporation for giving away other people's intellectual property for free? The guys that get to live a life of luxury because they've stolen from people who actually have the talent to create something?

Yeah. Those guys sound like real heroes and not the very same kind of people you hate. Cause guess what? It's not like they exclusively stole from rich people. Try creating something and having it stolen.

  • @DairunCates they didn't sell shit to anywhere, thats a long debunked rumor asshat, its funny your on the interweb and you cannot even google, the supposed buyer is in jail for fucking money laundering and financial crimes, on top of being insolvent years before.

If i told you if you shove a tennis ball up your arse it will give you superpowers would you do it without research? REFERENCE something, at least ask your GOD first...

  • @proletariat239 So your argument is essentially that because the company failed to pay up, they're completely innocent.

They still intended to get their money. They just failed at it. Doesn't make what they did a good thing. You can argue it as much as you want with ad hominems and reframing the topic, but it's still a temper tantrum. What they did is wrong, and most people aren't so dumb that they don't realize it. It's just that everyone has entitlement issues. Get over yourself.

  • @DairunCates do you listen.

im not arguing, Im saying the assholes who claimed to be buying them started a rumor about it, while they were being investigated for financial insolvency, why don't you go do some of your own research before you got around acting all self righteous.

I'm sure your sad cause you sugar daddy or what not lost out on royalties so you gotta suck extra dick for that wanton materialist object.

or your a crappy musician, how sad, there is always the recording business.

  • @proletariat239 Nice Ad Hominem. They don't work though. You can deflect the point as much as you want, but when it comes down to it, taking what's not yours is immoral, unethical, and damaging to creative industries. Everyone likes to pull the RIAA going beserk over a couple of Mp3's example, but people seem to forget that Pirate Bay wasn't a MINOR case. They were causing a substantial measurable damage to multiple industries that ultimately just hurt the people that do pay. They're not heroes.

  • @DairunCates CREATIVE INDUSTRIES, the human conscience is not mine, just like it's not fucking miley cyrus'. If you put your reative juices into the mix, unless your playing live shows with a gate fee, you should'nt make any money.

One you put your input into the pool of influence it belongs to the species shithead. DO you see me charging sony for eartime, or visual data comprehension fee's?

Your an idoit, and the fact you actually said creative industries paints you as the capitalist you are

  • @proletariat239 So, by that logic, writers shouldn't be paid ever. After all, you're free to discuss the book in open domain, and it's part of the collective conscious. There's even less ways of enforcing ideas than copyrighted material.

They need to eat though. So we pay them. Your argument essentially says that those that add nothing to the mix should get the most from it, and those that add something should get less. Ask yourself why YOU deserve to essentially live and they don't.

  • @DairunCates your a tool and a probably an AP. Furthermore if THEY were really starving on the streets, and it WAS NOT voluntarily posh starving, it would be a culpable issue.

HOWEVER, they aren't starving, they only get one new Lotus and a 15 room mansion instead of 15 new cars and a 50 bedroom building.

If your talent is noteworthy and has soul, marketable and everlasting, timeless and worthwhile, the efforts of even the most dastardly internet pirates on the seas will not stop your cash.

  • @DairunCates furthermore I do feel a certain ability to shit on these numbnuts who do one thing that is'nt even good, its just mentionable and they think they and their grandkids should be set for life...HA blow it out your ass.

I do have a right, why, because I have a job, and a business that adds something to this world, and helps people, that not everyone could do. You use to be able to say that about music, but you can't, and you cannot stop the internet.

  • @proletariat239 Who said I make music? Piracy expands a LOT farther than that, and who's honestly to say that your company adds more to the world than someone else's contribution? Furthermore, you claim that everyone that makes creative works is a millionaire but doing something ANYONE can do. If that's the case, why not make your own?

Ultimately, your argument boils down to you thinking you're better than everyone and more deserving. You don't even know what I do, but you assume superiority.

  • @DairunCates i don't assume anything , and I'm not arguing with you, that would imply there is something at stake. Fuck the greedy hoarde of anything, we are moving toward resource and information society, the whole mentality that someone cannot distribute something to others that may help or entertain them without sucking some corporate tit is asinine.

The fact is I do make music, and I have a business, and no I don't have a superlative ubermunchen syndrome, its idiotic to claim you own...

  • @DairunCates ...anything that is not a material or a possession in your hands or on your land. I do not care if you think IP's are property, the fact of the matter is they aren't once they enter the realm of the public. The fight against it is just another instance of Humans evolving slower than technology.

  • @proletariat239 So... If I'm getting this right from your last posts, you own your own business, make music in your spare time, and you're only 24. All this and you're a generous anti-capitalist idealist that believes in the complete sharing of absolutely all ideas and data.

Either you're accomplished or lying and just can't cope with the fact that there's no legal or moral precedent that backs up stealing movies off the internet. No sense arguing if you're just going to keep making things up.

  • @DairunCates SO what does my age have to do with anything, yeah, I am accomplished thanks, I don't need to make shit up to cope you tool, movies and the commitment they make to culture and progress is superficial at best. The services I render are specialized as well as desired. In the situation of societal collapse I could trade my services for necessities, could you trade or go about windbagging IP's for water, soil, seeds, or lodging?

  • Frankly, sir, it is you who holds no point, or objective, you are here propping up a consumerist, trite, and superficial facet of business, humanity, and entertainment.

Movies are not prerequisite to fulfillment of life, so in saying that if someone has a means to acquire it, free of charge they should. Just as if someone feels the strong urge to support a visionary by purchasing they should.

I don't pretend to stick to any moral code, especially anyone you would be familiar with...

  • @proletariat239 dude you rock.

  • @DairunCates however i do take strong exception to the painful realization that I am conversing with a tool, whom has vested interest in the stakes.

What I do, the source of my income, or financial security has nothing to do with the fact, yes I am 24, a multinational, an entrepreneur, business owner, college graduate, property owner, and author. I reap capital gains on all things, yet openly promote p2p. simple parallelism does not undo what is believed. Things cost money...

  • @proletariat239 - wow, I could listen to you ramble on until the end of time, in fact it feels as if I just did. With such a varied and busy portfolio of interests, it is both awe-inspiring and humbling to sit at your feet so that we may learn from the shimmering pearls of wisdom you cast upon us. The world has waited so long for you Master.

  • @prescient8 yeah you can blow me, cynical fucktard. Go collect your pay check, Agent provocateur.

  • @DairunCates ...and unfortunately until the world is more aligned with the needs of the species and the many over the few, assholes like you can make a pretty penny tottering to the corporate meglomaniacs, and IP baron's of the realm.

You should see that as inevitable, there are more important things that cost money to the impoverished or those on the cusp than movies and entertainment media, however this does not supplant the desire to view, own, or take in these things.

    therefore they steal.

  • @DairunCates I won't entertain this cyclical serpent buffet any longer but I did want to leave you with the lack of satisfaction. NO; I don't have to make shit up, YES: i own licensed IP material in both the digital rights medium, and the proprietary use medium. NO; I am not affected by lost wages from p2p. YES; I FULLY ENDORSE THE FREE SHARING OF IDEAS and THE BENEFITS OF COST FREE INFORMATION.

like I said, if your work is strong enough, benefits reap themselves unto you, despite p2p.

  • thats y we hate stupit police we only like good police

  • Guys...I just wasted 5 minutes and 46 seconds of my life...

  • @Altimus01 ur life isn't valuable anyways.

  • @Cap1108 Thats not what your mom said last night when my balls where on her chin...

  • Get to the chopper!!

  • And this is from a country that protects child molesters?

  • This is the police! WHERE ARE THE FUCKING FILES!?

  • They had nothing. Pirate Bay still exists and is going strong. The people you see here are just sheep doing the job they get paid a pitifull salary to do. It's called "visible policing". A translation would be: "We are showing we have big balls but no power to stop it whatsoever." Long live Pirate Bay and long live free data!

  • @bushveldbaby lol TPB is based in a country that allows shareware programs like limewire and such if i remember correctly. not 100% sure on that though

  • @bushveldbaby ohh, your slow? that's alright mate. your just a bit "special" IT WAS ON THE NEWS HOMO

  • @bushveldbaby lol it does exits but the website is a virus i will rune your computer

  • @aloue100

    it does exits...

    website is a virus?

    rune? your computer?

I am at a complete loss here aloue100...

Help me out! What does your post say?

  • @aloue100 you will ruin my pc?

  • @bushveldbaby You said it.

  • @bushveldbaby free stuff is cool but do u realize how much money is lost to this "FREE DATA" for the entertainment industry? probably billions of dollars a year. how would u feel if u had to pay for all he "FREE DATA" you stole. FREE DATA...does it make u feel like your not a thief when call it free data?

  • @jamesrichardson63 the entertainment industry already make WAY too much money as it is. FREE DATA expresses the idea that the internet is a public place where data can be sold but also shared. Its SHARING! nothing illegal immoral or otherwise wrong with it. movies and music will always make oodles of money anyway why not share and help eachother out.

  • @largehamburger ahhh....ok. so if your a musician and you put out your first CD (album) and it made its way to the "free data" website. your ok with that? your a dumbass. YOU think that the industry makes too much money? Who the hell are you to make that decision? how old are you....14?

  • @jamesrichardson63 man u are right about that one they think music industry is a easy way to make money....if it was an easy way to make money in the music industry every single musician would have a record deal but that aint how it is

  • @TheYoungG93 true...i have been to asia, africa and the middle east in the past 5 years and ALL of which sell illegal pirated copies of US movies and music!! this is global revenue loss for US movie makers and musicians!! BILLIONS! thanks to PIRATE BAY and the likes.

  • @bushveldbaby than why the fuck cant i veiw the site anymore? HUH

  • IF TPB dies im going to make a nuclear bomb.

  • @Bebyko2008

They already shut down a lot of other free media sites....

If they shut down The pirates bay I'm gonna Defect to The Chinese and kill lots of Americans....

  • Wtf? is this suppose to be a Police raid?

  • LONG LIVE TPB

  • The Pirate bay will never die!!!

  • looking not so bad. but its feel like a drama rehearsal

  • hahaha bunch of dudes walking around who have no idea what to do.

WHERE'S THE FILES! WHERE ARE THEY?

  • if piratebay is shut down then theres plenty of clone sites to take up the slack until another serious torrent site arrises to take up the slack.

When MiniNova was closed it took the community about a week before everything was back to normal - and all the problems were coming from too much traffic going to the alternative sites.

  • Does anyone even read when the vid was posted before commenting???

  • man if piratebay fails, its going to SUCK so bad! all the other torrent sites are SHIT.

  • @halflifeproductionz Not if you are on a private tracker. Ahem, TL.

  • @halflifeproductionz isohunt was good but now it just a search engine..

  • lol i was expecting the S.W.A.T to bust in a shoot up the place

  • @ArmyofThree1 lol

  • I downloaded a real live bear from the pirate bay and nobody stopped me. Go TPB!

  • The Golden Age of the Internet's rapidly ending. Eventually it's gonna be a watched-over, locked-down, monitored extension of whatever nation's lack of freedom hosts the networks. Goddammit.

  • @Tripo1iSamson

    Gotta agree with that.
