  • Strange. I saw something just like this last week. It was gone two minutes later while I was getting my binoculars from my apartment. Others saw it too. In fact George Noory from Coast to Coast AM talked about it briefly on his show last night

  • It's a decepticon from Transformers.

  • Whatever it is, it probably is way closer to the Earth than the Moon.

  • @Zingo33 are you serious? that thing is prob less than 10km above the moon, get your eyes checked

  • If you think this object is as close as 10 km above the moon you need to get your head examined.

  • gridkeeper great job dude!!!

    amazing 5 starz!

  • Thanks, the latest films are much clearer.

  • What's this songs name ? I really like this kind of soft music

  • Hi, I can't remember. I made it myself several years ago, that's me talking and the guitar is a PF sample which is doubled up. Maybe you could think of a name for it ?

  • the bubu song would be a great name

  • good vid, as usual, but the object is probably nothing of concern.

  • excellent work gridkeeper!!

some of the most convincing footage of weird stuff i have ever seen.

    thanks are in order

  • could be literally anything lol good vid though

  • WoW Thats Sick!! Nice Fraking JoB , thx u and JLW for posting this. Keep up the Good work. Some day my friends, some day we'll see them...

I hope more ppl start doing this maybe it'll improve our odds of finding something worthwhile.

    >;-]

  • Nah the moon isnt that bright during the day.

  • yes it is

  • i know what they are. let me explain they are called " space worms" a very strange creatures that living and are like worms but in space!! . thnx for uploading

  • That's just a star. My Starry Night astronomy program shows several similar star positions occuring on March 15th.

  • @ChrissyoSpace Stars always look like a single point of light on cameras. This is NOT a star, sorry

  • @Nixlplix Sorry, but it is a star. It's just a bit out of focus.

  • lol eagle launcher from apollo missions still orbiting the moon maybe? russia japan europe usa etc. sent a lot of stuff up there including satellites like the Hagormo probe thats still goin round the moon..

  • Makes one wonder doesn't it.

  • no you're right its probably just jesus trapped in the lunar gravity well, ET must have thought of it as some kinda practical joke back then. Actually I was wandering what ya meant by "makes one wonder.." are you one of those ppl that keep looking out for UFO's all their life? (No offence if you are, just wondering cuz I dnt get why some ppl do that.. by "that" I mean eg. filming a flock of gulls trying to convince everyone they must be extraterrestrial for whatever reason) sweet camera btw!!

  • No I just want to know what they are and who they belong to.

  • we sent satlilties and shit up there before we sent people that or a comet or metor or somthing. its not little green men if thats what you mean

  • Yep!

  • obviously its an austronaught who just fell out of his scape shuttle

    space man: "save me jebus"

  • it could be Bin larden!!!

  • so thats were he has been hiding man no wonder we couldn't find him ;P

  • It could be the good time to come closer...

Ok, we know that you are there, so...

Stop to play with our nerves!!!

  • Very interesting vision.

  • just a torch lost in space, nothing to worry about

  • A Pembroke man was playing with Google Earth - an online digital map of the planet - when he came across something that seemed out of this world: an apparent meteorite crater in Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham.

"I was just searching around on Google, looking at lakes, because I'm a sailor," said Stephen Dupuis, 52. "As I was panning down through the landscape, it kind of caught my eye."

  • Could be the Japanese probe that was sent up. It has taken hi def pictures of the moon. Just google search it.

  • ey the moon can also have satelite tv

  • who's the MUSIC by?

  • Me. The guitar part is a sample from PF. It was the first song I made in 1997.

  • wicked man, sounds great! Keep on rocking!

  • wicked man, sounds great! Keep on rocking!

  • hmm, a bit skeptical on this one. It appears to be moving the same exact distance downwards as the moon is, which you can track by aligning it with one of the craters. This would therefore give the appearance of it "moving" when in reality it's just a part of the sky backdrop moving (since the earth is orbiting). You guys are sure this wasn't a star/nebula/galaxy in the far distant background??

  • The moon is moving too. Not just the horizon changing. But in this relative distance its only obvious after 24 hours, not this 3 min vid. the only way to really check if this object was relative to the moon or horizon (i.e fixed) was to track its position/exposure for most of the night.

It would also tell us wether the object is in lunar orbit etc.

  • look strange!

  • It's the shuttle...

  • You can see a dark spot in that object when you filtered it towards the end an occupant perhaps? Hey GK loved the music too and you did that yourself you are just too cool!

  • im not saying this is so, but...

the first "obvious" explanation to come to mind is that its a satellite. How can we tell it isnt?

  • Most of earth's satellites are freely available. Usually the expense of such launches causes people to want to know what the crap going up is used for. GPS used to be 'military' secrets but AFAIK there aren't any new 'military' secret sats up there now.

If there were lunar satellites we'd probably know about it

.: A: its a top secret satellite (and if so, what is top secret its up there for) or B: an asteroid locked into moon orbit (possible?) or C: something else (the freaky cool option).

  • What's this songs name ? I really like this kind of soft music ^^ : )

  • Sounds like Pink Floyd's early stuff.......

    :)

  • Hi, thanks, it's the first track I ever made(1997). There is a PF guitar smaple in it. It was never eleased as it would have been too costly to clear the sample for resale.

  • What , are they doing on moon??? and who does it? any theories available???

  • why r these objects always blurry? i got the same results while taken pics of an object with a good but simple digital camera, and so many cases alike! you have to keep on trying until you get them clear! good luck, nice footage.

  • Hey, the left big object is the moon, so big zooming always gets blurring...

  • yep, we all know that, but watch his other vids and then u'll understand why i wonder.

  • aha, You're right...

  • thanks KEEPER, nice vids youve been sending!

  • now I know i have a telescope somewhere... excellent vid ...these are getting me interested in the sky more and more ...appreciate it ,thanks

    ps..excellent music ...again :)

  • ok, thank you, my friend has a scope i will give him a call

  • Is it possible to zoom any closer on this bright light?

  • not to start a fight or anything but

"Object Filmed near the moon during the daytime"

if it's daytime then why is the sky dark and the moon bright??

  • thats what its like in the day get a scope and cam and have a look about 1pm to 4 pm

    its a fact try it

look at other day stuff on gridkeepers web page then you will see

  • cool

    HD film is very good

  • looks really large and there r many strange things happening on the moon BUT....there r many satelittes in orbit round the moon at this time. many satellites r 20-30 ft across or larger and there r absolutely no reference points in this video to judge size. even if this is a known satellite, this is an amazing job of zooming in on an object that far away! if john can do this with his amateur scope, just imagine the detail and clarity the monster scopes can dig out. thanks 4 the post gridkeeper.

  • Great music. Right down to the "War Of The Worlds" sound effects inserts... 00:15 and 00:50 You didn't think we'd notice? Hahahaaa.....

  • :-)

  • Very chill music, i like it alot.

  • Great video Grid thanks

    and blessings

  • If it is a satellite which in my opinion doesn't look like it, it must be humongous.

  • what a great capture!

  • thanks for this...

  • cool

  • Sattelite?That thing is HUGE.

  • Could this be caught on Google Earth ?

  • Excellent footage. 5 Stars

  • its not moving fast, compared it to the moon the video is fast forward

    it could be satellite?

  • Now where else have I seen this throbbing object. The size must be tremendous.
