part of our responsibility is to hold the GOP responsible and culpable for their part and commensurate with the offense...and the war criminals, the Fox propaganda, the faux "security industry", clandestine war machine, the holding companies, the Rovian antic worshipers, the torturers, fear mongers, Texas mafia etc. all deserve a fair trial. This fat cow of a nation must be shown. or will we be the first to succeed this type abonimation? Our fore fathers would bitch slap the Haitis outthe thugs.

If the school systems made required courses for investing, savings and money management, maybe there wouldn't be so many people that are barely making it paycheck to paycheck.

I say they should make all of the Robert Kiyosaki books required reading for students from 5th grade on.

How can we expect our economy to sustain itself if the general populous works for their money, instead of their money working for them?

I agree. If people actually knew how to manage money before they were given had any, they would be more successful at it. We are required to obtain a license before driving or getting married. We should be required to get a license before buying a house. A kind of mortgage license for home buyers....

A required license to qualify home buyers, would be a great idea. If they had set it up 8 years ago, we would not be in the mess we are in now.

Also if the heads of all the media outlets would agree to share a white lie, and start reporting positive news of a turnaround in the economy... Then people would feel comfortable enough to start spending again.

Not spending money, selling stocks, cashing out a 401k or other investment accounts is another large reason for the recession.

Smack you know what happens when the gevernment finally figures out that the general public is too stupid to handly their own money, Communism. Just think about it , you hand people billions of dollars and at the end of the year you still have to bail them out.

That's why we need to be smarter with our money. I believe the majority of us are capable of this.

There was a point in my life that I lost every bit of faith in the American people, but people like you and many others on youtube restored my believe and faith completely. I hope that more people will follow your example and will also find the courage to speak out. you said that you have your moments too, but still I think that you are a good person and you show to me and others that you have good intentions and a good hart. I agree with you whole hartedly. we need to take responsibility for our actions and not let greed control our thinking. The preposition of the next administration spending another 750 billion keeps me up at night. The idea that government can fix this is ludicrous. Lets start reporting the good news and spot scaring people half to death, cut taxes and let capitalism run it's course.
