I agree with you. I love web design, and I'm just learning. I'm in the midst of trying to learn PHP. I work with Photoshop and Dreamweaver, but I wish I had the whole CS3 suite or now it's CS4 avalable now. I always wanted to buy Flash because I want to make my own widgets; the Dreamweaver widgets are so boring, especially the spry menus. I create navigation buttons in PS.
I'm glad to see it's therapy to you because I get lost in practicing and sometimes forget my current state as well.
I hope the web design thing works out. I am also job hunting and specialising with Flash CS3 - its awesome to see a website you have built and spent hours on (its a kind of therapy for me)
