@planbsk8r33 mk1 is originally made for the vx1000, its very very wide. the mk2 on the other hand is made for the vx2/vx21 series. it cant come close to a mk1.

@planbsk8r33 mk1 is mainly meant for vx1000's and mk2 is basically meant for vx2000/2100. it doesnt really matter, but those are the cameras they work best with, the mk1 is also alot wide and doesnt have the sun shade on it...

if you want a butthole vig then go head. the dvx has the worst vig ever. this is a 58mm thread. the dvx is 72mm. with a step down ring would just create massive vig. go the opteka 72mm if you cant afford a mk2

actually to have the curvature of a mk1 you want the concave of the sony wide angle lens to face down. the part that sticks out needs to go into the raynox and then you'll have a good fisheye

you don't need to mod this lens for a VX2000 cause the vx2000 is 58mm and the fisheye too, if you want to have a wider angle, use some spacer rings :)
