Thank you so very much for this comment...you truly made my day. Papillon Haven is such an incredible organization, all loving, caring volunteers from across the USA. We are proud that you have joined us in such a way! Wow!
This video made me cry the first time I saw it three months ago. I since adopted Kaylee (formerly Hailee) from this organization and have had her for two months.
Now I will be doing a home visit for another possible adoptee, and when our old dachshund goes to Doggie Heaven, i will be a foster mom for a Pap who needs that, too.
Don't be afraid to adopt an older dog. Our Kaylee is 6 1/2 years old, and a joy.
What an awesome video!! This only touches what PapHaven does. Please post and re-post so that everyone gets the word about these wonderful dogs and this wonderful rescue! Thanks!
Plz, Plz help me. I have lost my Papillon, CharlieBug! He wandered away in less than a minute when I turned to speak to a neighbor Easter night, April 4, 2010. He is white + sable, 15 yrs old + requires a special diet for his kidneys + digestion. He was lost in the Green Acres Mobile Home Park, Mack Smith Rd area, just over the TN line in GA, near Chattanooga. Plz email me at ojidieh@aol(dot)com if you can help or have heard of my baby.
This made me cry. I rescued, fostered, rehabilitated, and reunited a lost, wandering, starved Papillon with his family. I was ready to keep him as I had already fallen in love with him. Even though you couldn't accept my application for one of your dogs I still have great admiration for what you do.
I adopted a 10 year old papillon named Charlotte. She was a breeding dog found during a puppy mill raid. She was terrified when I first got her, but now she dances and plays. You can her funny little video on my page.
Whoa that's one crazy good video! I was thinking of adopting one of your Paps but now they seem a bit delicate after reading a few articles and watching this. Poor little peanut looked like she was gonna die any second in those pictures. xD You guys are amazing!
God bless all of you at PapHaven. What an amazing organization you have helping these precious angels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for ALL you do!
It's very rewarding.....and we do love hearing from folks like you. thank you for your kind praise. Please check out the website, there are many ways to help our Papillons in need. :)
Since viewing this moving, beautiful video, I find myself sending it to anyone who has a computer. I have such respect for every good soul at Paphaven, and your tireless efforts to save these amazing furry babies. I have now become a virtual foster for Kelle, and look forward to hearing about his adoption and life. I have 7 fur babies of my own, or I would adopt one from paphaven...so profound has been your impact upon me! Maybe some day! For now, my thanks to you for all you do!
Oh, bless your heart. Thank you for such sweet words of praise. Do spread the word, there are lots of wonderful people out there who still don't know about our rescue.
WOW! What an excellent video. Thank God for rescue angels. Not only do they save these sweet creatures but they redemn us all. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for all you are doing! I know I am a silly old broad, but I am the owner of a 'party' pappy named Louis I - whom I absolutely dote on, and I was moved to tears by these brave little souls you featured. I am now training through my vet to be able to breed these extraordinary dogs. I want to help! I have tried nearly all day to access your site, but can't get the page to load. How can I help?
I am so sorry you had problems accessing our site. We had internet issues (can we say DISASTERS!) for about 2 weeks. The entire website has been entirely recreated by our tireless chief of operations, Jan. Please do visit the site! We need all the help we can get. :)
Wonderful video, Mary....truer words have never been spoken, but these pictures are worth a million words! Please everyone...adopt, rescue, buy, research...for life! Consider the life of those that this dog will touch...as well as the life of the dog! Papillons are a breed that "are NOT for everyone". Rescues are full of dogs that someone "thinks" they want! Rescues, like PapHaven, PCAR, etc...will always "take a dog back" and find it another good home...as will responsible breeders!
Thank you...we are hoping the video will bring a much needed awareness to our rescue mission. The economy has been hard on these little ones, with many being dumped at shelters, vets and even the roadside. Please spread the word!
May all rescue organizations get the support they need as family pets are being surrendered in large numbers due to the faltering economy and loss of homes. Help!
What's the song to this?
This is a touching video, and It's sad to see how many animals suffer out there, glad there are people that can help.

Please click on my name and view my video "Lulu, Kaylee, and Annie Treats."
It shows my new Pap Lulu, who is seven years old. We've had her a few days now, and she is great.
Please consider giving an older dog a home!
