GT5 doesn't have cockpit views for all cars.. Forza does. Idc about the simulator crap. GT5 took forever to come out with and they didn't even complete it.

Lets not forget that Bluray has way more capacity than the loser HDDVD so XBOX and Forza can NEVER compete (in that area). Specify why?? There's not one detail in this video that truly states that the graphics in Forza's screen is better in detail that GT5's screen, factually.

XD jajajajaj forza looks like shit! the models look hella low on polygons and texture. GT5 looks nice and crisp. and has way more poly's and higher texture, (thanks bluray for those uncompressed sounds, textures,and models)
Forza 3 blows GT5 out of the water on sound... GT5 blows Forza 3 out of the water on graphics... GT5's physics are more advanced and the tracks are great. Forza does a better job at conveying elevation change than GT5. Drifting in GT5 is much more realistic as is the smoke. Forza has much more customization options. Forza actually has drag racing (though a poor attempt). For Simulation go with GT5, for fun and customization go Forza... or just get both and HAVE A GREAT TIME!
alright all gt5 fans listen how many parts of a game has gran turismo? 5 forza 3 4th on the way. turn 10 actually spend theyre time on gaming expierience but i like gran turismo aswell with all the game modes but there is 5 gran turismos alreade when there will be 5 forza games then we will see we just wait and find out
the comparison is not so successful in GT5 because it's cloudy and FM3's sound but the gameplay of GT5 is far more visible mainly at the first corner and ahead of the curve chiquene the line, to see the arm movements of the rider much better! !

The cockpits in Forza 3 aren't terrible. The Only thing that really sucks about it is the camera view and the lighting effects. If they fix that in Forza 4 the cockpits will be okay for me. And maybe put a little more details in the steering wheel too. And for the track itself i think Forza's looks better but Gt5's has a more realistic color to it.
@XxtheEniGma123xX look at the cockpit above it is terrible and most cockpits dont have working gauges...compared with gt5 were everything from oil pressure fuel tank, handbrake on/off headlights, and even mileage is displayed. Not to mention gt5 cockpits you can look in the back have in different colours depending on the car, windscreen wipers and the buttons light up in night.
@SRBmadafaker The cockpits feel a bit unfinished while playing FM3. FM3 has 300K polys for features like photomode. But FM3 cockpit views only uses about 75K polys while GT5 uses 200K. But you're right, FM3 has an arcade game feel. FM3 is indeed a fun game but the cockpits feels rushed.

Yes it is. He had 6 damn years to do what Turn 10 did in 2. GT5 had only 200 or so premium cars. And 800 ps2 quality cars. Forza had over 400 premium cars. And NO low quality cars. All of them were customizable. They did twice as much work in that regard that PD did.
GT5 is just absolutely stunning, especially all those jagged edges that appear on almost EVERY curve of the car and track, shadows that look like they were made out of Lego blocks, those awesome 2d pre-rendered backdrops that look faker than silicone tits, pathetically broken damage system (it's not unlocked btw), 80% cars that were directly ported from ps2...yea it's stunning. Stunning that Polyphony digital would piss away 6 years of developing what they call "perfection".

They are not unrealistic but they are not realistic at all. Even shift 2 has better cockpits than forza.
Trust me the cockpits in forza 4 will still not be better than GT5. It is you who hasnt played GT5. Why do you think the game took so long, because it is so detailed. Forza did a good job doing the cockpits in a two year period, but GT5 had 6 years so obviously there is a lot more detail in the cars in GT5.

That's why PD dumped their previous coding from the ps2. The reason why Turn 10 has lots of cockpit views in two years because they used two different companies from Vietnam and India to model about 70% of them including some tracks. While Turn 10 (which has over 300 staff) does other work on the game. While PD (140 staff)does everything

@BOBDIVER9 and better graphics, more cars, tracks, events, gear/suits, colors,better enviroments, realistic damage (as long as you dont slam into a wall at 200 miles per hour, the little taps are pretty well simulated) better interiors, working gauges, Nascar, WRC(rally), the redbull X2010, Ferrari F10(i have no idea if forza has this or not, i havent looked lol) and a lot more insane cars and a hell of alot more detail (which i appreciate)
@geterhero I understand it's kitted out quite nicely and that it may well be better than forza, but is all the extra detail worth the cost of a PS3 which i would need in order to enjoy these simple little pleasures. Third point is that Forza is not an arcade racer, and if it is, GT5 is not as good as Forza, so what will GT5 be than. Fourth, the makers of Forza don´t let you wait for 10 ages till they bring a game out, and the makers of GT do that, and still GT5 is just a DLC of GT4. Fifth, I am a professional racing gamer. If I say hw good or bad a game is, I dont look at the name and the solds.

If you think graphics are everything well no one gives a shit cause that dosent affect the game play. If you compare engine sounds to Forza you will notice that GT5 cars sound like shit compared to forza which i think is way more important then what the graphics look like i'm sorry GT5 spent so much time making their game look good but that's all they did.

well I have gt5 and forza 3 and i have to say that forza is better-for me.
i have buyed a ps3 just for gt5 and it was dissapointing.
from 1034 only 200 have cockpit!!!Come on turn10 had 400 cars in forza and ALL of them had cockpit!!!Gt5 is just frustraitng for me.to make gold in licenses you have to play so much but you only get dissappointed because its nearly impossible to get them.
the creator of gt5 said that "gt5 is perfect " but it isnt!

They are not unrealistic but they are not realistic at all. Even shift 2 has better cockpits than forza.
Trust me the cockpits in forza 4 will still not be better than GT5. It is you who hasnt played GT5. Why do you think the game took so long, because it is so detailed. Forza did a good job doing the cockpits in a two year period, but GT5 had 6 years so obviously there is a lot more detail in the cars in GT5.

That's why PD dumped their previous coding from the ps2. The reason why Turn 10 has lots of cockpit views in two years because they used two different companies from Vietnam and India to model about 70% of them including some tracks. While Turn 10 (which has over 300 staff) does other work on the game. While PD (140 staff)does everything

@TheNigerianScammer I don't even care for GT5 anymore, however; even I can say that Forza 4 will not reach the level of GT5's premiums and I doubt their new lighting engine will look better than GT5. However I still have to buy Forza 4 because it will be awesome. Even then it still should not have taken six years judging by the game in its entirety. PS3 potential but misunderstood potential it is.

@BOBDIVER9 and better graphics, more cars, tracks, events, gear/suits, colors,better enviroments, realistic damage (as long as you dont slam into a wall at 200 miles per hour, the little taps are pretty well simulated) better interiors, working gauges, Nascar, WRC(rally), the redbull X2010, Ferrari F10(i have no idea if forza has this or not, i havent looked lol) and a lot more insane cars and a hell of alot more detail (which i appreciate)

Third point is that Forza is not an arcade racer, and if it is, GT5 is not as good as Forza, so what will GT5 be than. Fourth, the makers of Forza don´t let you wait for 10 ages till they bring a game out, and the makers of GT do that, and still GT5 is just a DLC of GT4. Fifth, I am a professional racing gamer. If I say hw good or bad a game is, I dont look at the name and the solds.
