These lasers are diode lasers, not a DPSS. They produce visible 445nm light and small amounts of UVA radiation.

Technically, they can cause cancer, in much the same way that a sunburn can, if you happen to expose yourself in such a way that the laser burns your skin.

@GHOST702101 Infrared will not cause cancer. It is the higher frequency electromagnetic waves like UV, X-ray and gamma that will cause cell mutation. These lasers are emitting nothing but visible light and minute amounts of infrared.

But thanks for the laughs and making urself sound like an idiot and btw 440nm is the peak wavelenght of HIV light so 445nm lasers can be nearly as dangerous as UVA lasers (UVA = high frencyency UV light, the "safest UV light" just incase you somehow get in your mind that UVA means AIDS too xD).
