what I dont understand is why straight guys dislike gay guys. I am not gay, nor do I have gay friends, but its not like I dislike gay people. I have female friends that I would never hit on or anything, and Im sure its like that for gay guys too (with other guys, that is)

I think its parents' responsibility to teach their kids to respect others' opinions and beliefs, and not to feel uncomfortable around those who are gay

Could someone tell me how gay people feel about being seen as femine, talk with a lisp, or love show tune? is not mostly how you guys are. And please don't get mad at me, I am trying not let the media teach anything anymore. I finally realize how ignorant i am of anything that is not Christian, my race, or sexuality. Media is the medium to diversity but its failing badly. Explains racism and homophobia.

@hco323 personally i hate it, im not femenine at all, im just a normal guy, no different to most straight guys, i like doing masculine things. lol. its horrid how were seen by most as perverted freaks who have sex with everyone, i dont want to have sex with everyone at all, i wwould only go 4 other straight guys, ok i play rugby but i dont play it to get with guys!! seriously thats shallow! i play it because i love the sport. people get the really wrong idea of us most gays arnt femenin at all

@yttihp11 true, i just became friends witha guy, had no idea he was gay, because my idea of gay was someone who is trying to be out their and loud. This guy was definitely a guy who played football until we got really close and we were talking about that sort of things. He also hates famine gay guys. I didn't know for a while i labeled gays but i do hate Perez Hilton, I can't stand how some just wants to be female or being out there and doing negative things for gays.

@hco323 exactly, i dont hate femenin gays i just dont particualy like them as friends as i cant connect as well lol. so i mostly hang aroung with gays like myself or just straight guys (well the ones who dont think im gunna start hitting on them or trying to touch them, this really pisses me off), and most couldnt even tell i was gay. and i dont even really know who perez hilton is, only that hes one of thoose gay that gives a negative view on us.

Most of these clips weren't even that offensive (excluding the final credit clip). But it's unfair that you include "The Sopranos" considering the characters are Italian mobsters. Of course they would say things like that! Most mobsters aren't gay or pro-gay. Talladega Nights is meant to make fun of those who are homophobic. Ricky Bobby is an idiot redneck, along with everyone else in that movie. The rest is in good fun and most gays I know find that kind of humor funny.

Yeah, it's pretty terrible how LGBT themes are portrayed in the media, and even the ones that were supposed to be funny instill a sense of inequality or that gay people are "different" or that they all have to be those Bravo-esque quote ". . .floating around, 'oh my God, here they come.' gay guys"
