it does hardly shows history.yes his father got poisoned,yes he went to war with jamuka,yes he conquered china,and thats about all the fact it showed
he never got captured to china,mongol armies arent infantry spearman,the cavalry dont look like japanese samurai,and the final battle wasnt determined by lighting(i mean seriously?gimme a break)
this movie is just using special effects to make everything look cooler,DOES NOT reflect history

@kakaman05 Although this movie isn't exactly the starring example of historical accuracy, Chinese WAS, along with Tangut, one of the official languages of the Tangut Empire, also known as the Western Xia. Then again, the monk would be speaking Middle Chinese rather than Modern Standard Mandarin...
