i got a photo from WWI my grandpa took in France around 1917, it shows a crashed bi-plane with a 4-leaf clover on the tail wing, i can't figure out what country its from, the plane is totally smashed so i cant see the wing markings or anything other than the tail section intact, maybe its German cause it looks kinda like an iron cross but is a 4-leaf clover instead. anyone know ???
