  • What are you wearing by the way it looks pretty awsome?

  • little tip for another way to get 100 spell absorption,

sigil stones, when you are about to close an oblivion an oblivion gate, save it, then take the sigil stone, look at it in your inventory, if its not spell absorption then reload until you get it. get some rings or armour etc to enchant

also use this for whatever you want and the higher your level the better the sigil stone

  • Where can I find the Sorcerer's Ring?

  • so that's why i had truble with telekinesis spells thanks

  • so its kinda like the lawofconservationofmagic? you cant destroy it you cant make it but you can transform it and absorb it?

  • OK, so I don't get it....You just cast telekinesis "out of nowhere?"

  • @burndank1 your absorbing your own spell becuz you have 100 percent spell absorbion. when you cast telekinesis your casting the spell on yourself but becuz of the spell abosrb your getting the magic return to you. So using this trick you can never run out of magic. its a good trick but makes the game too easy. am casting 200 cost fire spells liek 100 times n a battle

  • Type PRIZE before youtube and hit enter

  • So when ur mysticism is low, its not really worth it??or am i wrong??

  • @hairyman008 when your mysticism is low, then it will just take more casts to fill up your magicka. If you dont mind this when there are no enemies around then its fine

  • @TheCraftyGamer Alright, thanks man! ;D

  • @hairyman008 actually it might be easier to not train your mysticism until you get 100 spell abs. because you can only get spell abs. from sigil stones and some random loot. When you get to 100 pts and need a magicka refill, then you mysticism is easily trained as long as you cast spells to regenerate

  • What would be the formula for calculating base magicka cost?

  • @legoboy227

    this:

    B = Base Cost / 10

    M = Magnitude ^ 1.28

    D = Duration

    A = Area × 0.15

    Total cost = B × M × D × A

  • yor karactor lucks stupid lol

  • @Zanmatt2g Your spelling is stupid.

  • @legoboy227

    rolf know narb

  • I can use telekinesis to pick up objects but I cant do it to people :S

  • What's better or more fun/funny telekinesis or lighting?

  • what cape is that?

  • @jacko821 As far as I know, enchanted rings don't actually use mana to hurt you. They just deal the damage, so no mana gained if no mana was spent.

  • For 100% damage reflection and spell absorbtion without cheats or atronach sign, enchant a full suit of armor (minus sheild) with sigil stone spell absorb. Get Escutcheon of Chorrol sheild by completing full series of Separated at Birth misc. quests. And add Sorcerer's ring, Ring of the Iron Fist, and either Amulet of Axes or Necklace of Swords (all randomly found).

  • @jarodinomicon That doesn't actually work. The game checks your spell reflection/absorption and resistance (I believe in that order) when your hit by a spell. i.e. if you have 50% reflect, 50% absorb and 50% resistance to magicka then when a fireball would hit you the game would do a 50% roll to determine if it gets reflected, then if not, it rolls for absorb then if that doesn't work resistance would lower the effect by 50%. So having 100% absorb and reflect would be pointless they don't stack.

  • @ner1103 I meant "damage" reflection, the kind that reflects physical attacks. Combined with spell absorbtion you're practically unkillable.

  • @jarodinomicon ahhh that is true. But damage reflect doesn't affect enchanted weapons and spell absorbtion and reflection also don't affect enchanted weapons nor do they protect you from ny spells you cast that gt reflected by an enemy. But yes I see your meaning and it is possible.

  • I found it's simpler to make all spells include telekinesis. As long as the telekinesis effect costs at least 1/4 the magicka as the rest of the spell, and the spell as a whole takes no more than 1/2 your max magicka you can cast it as many times as you want and your magicka will hold fast at 50%. Example: if your max magicka is 500, make a spell with telekinesis costing 50mag and fire damage costing 200mag. Your magicka will never dip below 250. You can do this with any spell.

  • @jarodinomicon NICE! Genious, really.

But that must mean that the absorb telekinesis effect takes place BEFORE the reducing of the magicka due to the spell cast, even though it's of a different type (fire magic is another type than telekinesis in this case). Well found!

  • @jarodinomicon genious.

i do think it will require you to have a higher skill and you can't fully use your magicka anymore...

nonetheless it's a nice idea yeah, i'm sure to try it out :)

  • @mwahisgoed Yeah, my example was based on having 100 Mysticism, having lower levels is less efficient. Not sure what you mean about the magicka though, you can still make spells using all of your magicka but for this trick to work you have to limit them to half.

  • @jarodinomicon thats what i meant, and you can't use those spells under water (ranged spells).

and the game gets kinda lame this way, it's easy to 1 hit kill monsters this way...

  • @jacko821 tried it dosnt work : /

  • what gear are you wearing?

  • @craigosbournes. Yep. =)

  • Don't u have to have the birthsign: The Atronatch?

  • Nope, you don't need the Atronach. It's just that it's more useful for Atronach players, since they can't regenerate their magicka and they start off with an extra 50 spell absorption.

  • Cool :D

  • This happens with a high spell absorption, so if a spell is made against me, it wont hit me, instead it will regenerate my magicka, this trick is useful for attronach players: go to the bravil's statue (if you did the darkbrootherhood this is impossible) use the statue and you will absorb the spell, why bravil? because that statue has no cooldown, so you can continually regenerate at no cost (i believe that weakness to magic increases this effect, as far as i know)

  • btw i had to spell things wrong or it wouldn't have fitted on ^_^

  • get the absorbspel sigil stone wich depending on ur level cn be up to 15 spell absorption then use the cloning glitch on rings and on the sigil stone then use te perminant fortify glitch 2 keep on increasing your spell absorption

by doing this you can use two major glitches 2 work together

clone glitch requires scrols and an object 2 clone

and the perm fortify is done by cloning a magic rng then eqipng it and then try to clone the unequiped of the 2 rings which drops both rings leaving te efect

  • if you have spell absorption 1000 it will give you 10 times the base cost

  • Comment removed

  • thanks this trick worked now on my high elf mage i can restore my magicka without chugging potions

  • This is genious

  • Definitely one of the most informative and helpful videos I've ever seen for Oblivion. 5/5

  • I tried making a mage with a high elf and the atronach. But I only have like 5 magicka. With 50 spell absorption how's a way I can bring my magicka back up. So if i cast a spell at someone then I gain magicka back? I don't get it.

  • I thought i couldn't make this video any more clear.. Well, you can cast Telekinesis (this video should help you create the best spell suited for your amount of magicka) to regain your magicka. If you don't want to use this trick, I'd advice you to buy all ingredients in every shop and make loads of potions (which you can sell back with profit), this is good for your alchemy, magicka (restore magicka potions) and your mercantile. Good luck.

  • Sweet. Nice tip.

  • Hey, good thinking! I wouldn't know, but I'm sure I'm gonna test it sometime soon. I'll reply by then :)

  • thanks man

  • Where do you get the sorceres ring??? plz tell meee ;D

  • It's a random drop throughout the game, so you'll have to be lucky. Try the Temple of the Moths though, you can quicksave, kill one of the priests who drops rare rings and quickload to try again. Once you got it, you can save again. It might take some time, so be prepared. I got it by pure luck, I didn't even know it existed beforehand.

  • Well thanks for everything, I'm going to try it too.

  • Hey, thanks for putting your time into the video, i understand the magicka amount absorbed, BUT how do you absorb telekinesis -when it's a "TARGET" spell? & 5/5 for video

  • I presume it is because telekinesis is a one-of-a-kind type of spell. It is targetted on stuff and not just monsters or NPC's. This makes it unique in that it's a "Target" spell, but it affects the caster. I believe that causes the opportunity to use this exploit.

  • If you gain the magicka first, then the cost of the spell is deducted, can you cast this spell when you are completely out of magicka?

  • Nope, good question though, but that's what confuses me as well. I think the game sees it as a standard requirement to have enough magicka to cast the spell. From the results I can conclude the game does this: check players magicka (if there's enough) -> absorb magicka -> reduce magicka

  • Where can you get the Absorb Spell or whatever it was

  • So this is just a glitch that nobody found because, I guess, nobody uses the telekinesis spell?

  • Yep, guess so, and very few use the atronach birthsign..

  • You can get a "Spell Absorption" by 20pts from Mankar Camoran's Robe, if you didn't allready know that^^ but your character must be lvl 18+

  • how did u get sorcerer's ring?? i thought it was only morrowind

  • how do u get 100% i can only think of 2 things to use (Atronach sign + Spelldrinker amulet) which adds up 2 70%...I also cant enchant anything with spell absorption at the guild =(.

  • sorcerer's ring...

  • nice... you proved that a high elf under the atronach birthsign is the stronger player...!

  • high five*

  • nope, the Telekinesis effect is absorbed so you won't be able to move objects. That's how I found out in the first place; I tried to move an object with Telekinesis, nothing happens and all of a sudden I regain my magicka! So if you still want to move an object, take off some armor with Spell absorption effect on it, and you might get a spell through.

  • what cloathes wer u wearing there n how do i get them??

  • They're mods

  • please can you send me the url of the page from where you downloaded you wicked mods...

  • tmg= the god mode

  • No, it means "toggle god mode" because everything else starting with a "T" that makes little sense means toggle.

  • wrong, base cost based on 33 in that skill

  • Nevermind...I misunderstood =/

How great wouldn't it be though. Might not take too long to make with the construction set and a script.

  • distance*

  • Ohh..you can use telekinesis to absorb health or magicka from a distant? Suddenly Oblivion feels a little more complex 0_0

  • ok i need some serious help i need to know where and how to make spells on a 360. plz someone post here even make a vid or send me a message thank =]

  • in arcane university bro ,just join mages guild and do quest until u can enter ,or u can have 400 acrobatics and jump that wall xD

  • ok i need some serious help i need to know how to make spells cuz i found some kool stuff to do with it plz post here or send me a message or something plz!!!!

  • Well, it's not based on the effects of the spell but on the magicka cost. What I know is that a spell of 100 ft for 1 sec, would cost about 50 magicka at a mysticism level of 100. I'm guessing that it would net you a total of 150 magicka.

But that's just what I'm guessing, if you really wanna know you should find out: the amount of energy it costs for you (doesn't matter if your skill level is 100 or not); the base energy it costs.

  • How did you get 100% reflect damage?

  • Yea i got a question i have a 360 and i was wondering if its possible to pick some one up with Telekinetics on there. DO u no by any chance?

  • You mean like casting Telekinesis on a *person*? so you can move him/her around and stuff?

That's impossible for the original game, I've read about mods which can do that, but you can't get mods on the 360, so...

  • wow cool, can you at least tell me where to get sorcerer's ring though?

  • Sorry, it's random loot. You gotta be lucky. However, there is an easier way: the temple of the ancestor's moth, as you can quicksave-kill-loot-quickload again and again until you find one.

  • ohh, i see, i thought it was like the spelldrinker where you gotta do a quest/s first. Thankyou though :)

  • i keep doing this and all the guy drops is that stupid ring of freedom (30% paralise res)

  • I saw you edited at 3:06

    Bruma north Gate appeared again

    Whats your game

  • Hey, lol, I didn't even know. Well, it shouldn't matter, because it works anyway.

Guess I accidentily used the wrong part... whatever.

  • Sorry, I don't. You could send me a private message if you want. I'd gladly answer your questions.

  • I got it from a mod: Armory of the Silver Dragon.

  • thanks

  • so you just cast a spell then cast a telecenisis spell and it will go up

  • yes, that is the easiest way to say it :D

  • Mages guild quest after recommendations.

  • Yeah but as an Atronach how do you get your mystisism up to 100% in the first place it would take forever without cheating.

  • You can simply keep casting the spell to get it up - even without enemies around! This works with alteration, conjuration and illusion too, as they all happen to be spells that are casted on the user.

  • I dont really get how a target spell comes to be absorbed but if it works, great.

Nice work. Now I can bear the atronach birthsign.

  • Telekinesis is a special type of targetspell, since it affects the one who casts it. So a target affects you and can therefore be absorbed, or at least that's what I think.
