Florida has good wrestling talent. Florida has many multi-sport athletes which would bring a lot of different skills to the mat. Only reason I believe Florida isn't a major wrestling state is because of the diversity and coaches wanting athletes to themselves. Also good video!

Apple Valley does not necessarily, "recruit." But they did create a program that everyone wants to be a part of and a lot of kids are willing to uproot themselves and start fresh at a new high school simply for wrestling. It is more of strategic advertisement than recruitment. Lets be realistic for a second: what teams have their level of success without recruiting? They recruit, but in a smart way that cannot be defined literally as recruiting. I went to high school with one of their recruits.
